The sun's started to shine when I left our home today. I clocked out from work exactly 5 in the morning and bid goodbye to April and Dyn. Both are still sleeping soundly and told them that I will be home quick and most likely I'm home already before they wake up.
Walking to the waiting shed, I already consumed more or less 15 minutes. There's no jeepney around the streets and even tricycle's nowhere to be found. I waited someone called my attention and ask if I will be going to bayan or city proper. I said yes and rode the tricycle.
Even though, there's no other vehicle's around the driver drove his machine in a smooth manner. I never felt the fear of him speeding up and I was at ease.
I reached the city proper almost six in the morning famished. Since the last meal that I had was around 9 PM hunger kicked in. I saw the burger joint of Angel's burger and decided to have my breakfast there.
I asked the server if she's already accepting orders and said that she just need to heat her girdle and within 5 minutes she can place my orders.
I picked cheesedogs for a change as it taste better than burgers. I recall @ruffatotme saying her favorite in Angel's is the cheesedog too and I can agree with that. This isn't an ordinary and for sure they have their own commisary that sells their hotdogs.
Except the hungarian sausage that they are selling every meal is buy 1 take 1. I spent a dollar for my meal water included.
It takes me back during my teenage years when I was still studying. The cost of a buy 1 take 1 burger is around half a dollar, these meals are our life saver back then. Since rice and other viands are costly my classmate and I will agree that we will buy the said burger and then we will just consume tons of water in the cafeteria.
I had been using that method since highschool so that I can save money.
But looking back on that I was not saving for noble reason like saving it up for school projects and fees. I was saving money so that I can spend it on either buying some Ragnarok load cards or the rent for the computer ๐. Renting a computer back then is quite costly, around half a dollar per hour. So if ask what is the priority if it is food or the addiction you now know what I chose. Priorities man, priorities ๐ค.
But now being a grown-up and having my own pc those things that I got addicted to are just a thing in the past. Each time that I share such to people who know me they cannot imagine that I was such, since I am more on the meek type of person ๐ that wouldn't stir up any trouble or did not create any trouble in the past.
