One cool thing about The Gold Coast, Sydney and Australia in general are the open air malls. Due to Winters being warm and shopping being a national past time malls in Australia are many and most of these malls are open to the outside. Without the limitations of doors to keep cold weather at bay there are with expansive mall entrances merging onto sidewalks, mammoth open air courtyards filled with food stands and shops, and plenty of outdoor escalators.
On The Gold Coast though things are on a whole different levels with palm trees, crystal clear waters and the occasional patriot. It truly feels like I’m shopping in a tropical paradise!
