Hi Everyone,
One of the things I love checking out everytime I’m in Japan are the bath bombs. If you stroll into a Japanese pharmacy, department store, or even a 100-yen shop, you’ll almost always find a huge section dedicated to bath bombs (バスボム / バスボール). Bath bombs have become a small but joyful part of my search throughout our stays in Japan each and every time. The greatest part of these bath bombs are the variety they offer no matter if it is 100 yen or 600 yen. There is something for everyone.
Character themed with surprise toys in each are the kid’s favourite. Popular with children, these dissolve to reveal a small figurine or charm. Common characters include Anpanman, Doraemon, Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, and seasonal Pokémon editions which can cost as we have found. The kids love them because of the fizzing effect, bright colors, and hidden toys and tend to collect the full lot if they love that particular collection. In particular recently love the Sanrio collection as they all wanted the My Melody and Kumori ones. The only downside of buying these bath bombs home is they are very heavy, they take alot of weight so that is something to keep in mind when you were thinking of bringing some back as gifts.
