Hi Everyone,
If you’re visiting Bangkok and looking for one of a kind exhibition and something a bit out of the ordinary, he Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys exhibition at LV The Place Bangkok is probably a place you want to visit especially if you are in fancy bags. Located on the ground floor of Gaysorn Amarin mall, this free exhibition showcases Louis Vuitton’s past and present works.
When you enter, you’re greeted by the Trunkscape, a tunnel built from 96 vintage Louis Vuitton trunks. It was actually pretty amazing with just myself standing there once I walked in. Once you work through this tunnel, you get to the Origins zone, where rare luggage pieces are on display.
As you walk through, there are numerous displays of past and current luxury bag designs in all shapes and sizes, accompanied by detailed explanations of each piece showcased. Before leaving the exhibition, visitors are invited into a bright Giveaway Room where we can pick up a complimentary souvenir, including branded postcards and pencils. I ended up getting a poster. After exploring the exhibition you are directed to the LV store adjacent to the exhibition.
Entry to Visionary Journeys is free, but you must reserve your time slot in advance through the official website. It is very close to the BTS but make sure you go there on time as they do check the timing to avoid the exhibition to be overly crowded at one given time.
