Hi Everyone,
I've disappeared for a while after my last update about my eye laser is because we were also moving to a new place. I have been trying to take some rest for my eye but 2 weeks after the surgery, we moved house and that in itself have kept me busy for weeks.
We originally lived in a 2 bedroom apartment and have now moved to a bigger place since the boys are getting older and needed some more space. Most importantly we wanted to be closer to the high school we want BB E to be attending in just over a year. I think it is crucial to see if we can live in this new are (even though its pretty close to our old house) and so far everyone is liking it.
The packing took around 2 weeks for the whole house and we had around 70 boxes excluding the bigger furniture. We had 3 movers and completed the move in just under 8 hours. It was a longgggg day for sure. Apart from the extra room we also have an extra bathroom which is super usefully in particular the boys come home sweaty and hot after a long day at school so they can take their showers at the same time. The only downside now is I don't have a garden so I will be missing my little plants upstairs especially the citrus tree and home grown shallots.
Unpacking is always fun and I'm always finding things I haven't seen for years. Hubby said maybe I should donate it or sell it since I don't need it. We did donate at least 2 car full of items to charity like old toys and books, clothing and garden gear. Hopefully someone will find some good use for them.
