Street photography from a moving car is really challenging. As soon as you see a subject or an interesting moment, you've already passed it. You have to react even faster than usual. I like to use this challenge to improve and train my responsiveness as a photographer. When you look through the pictures at the end of the car ride, you realize that over 90% of them are completely unusable. But if you're lucky, there are a few good snapshots among them. I'd like to show you a couple of such lucky shots from my last street photography drive in Mexico City in this post.
Straßenfotografie aus einem fahrenden Auto heraus ist wirklich eine Herausforderung. Kaum sieht mein ein Motiv oder einen interessanten Moment, ist man schon an ihm vorbeigefahren. Noch mehr als sonst muss man extrem schnell reagieren. Ich nutze diese Herausforderung gerne, um meine Reaktionsfähigkeit als Fotograf zu verbessern und zu trainieren. Schaut man sich die Bilder am Ende der Autofahrt durch, stellt man fest, dass über 90% absolut unbrauchbar sind. Doch wenn man Glück hat, sind ein paar gute Schnappschüsse dabei. Ein paar solche Glückstreffer von meiner letzten Straßenfotografie-Fahrt in Mexico City möchte ich euch in diesem Beitrag zeigen.
