Success In My Definition.

When I saw this prompt, I thought about life, dreams and success, the first thing that came to my mind was how everybody sees success differently, for some people, i is all about money and financial freedom, for others, it is about being happy with family, or maybe even having peace of mind without too much wahala, honestly, I donot think there is only one definition of success, because the way my own heart thinks about it is different from the way another person sees it. For me personally, success is a mix of things, so of course, money is important okay let us not even pretend, you see in this life, almost everything you want to do needs money, School, feeding, rent, kids expenses, even enjoyment, everything requires money, so yes, financial freedom is part of success for me, but then, success is also when you can sleep at night without too many worries, It is when you wake up and you are genuinely happy, even if your account is not as full as you would like.  When I was younger, my dream of success was tied to school, I thought once I finished school, got a good job, everything would just align, but growing up has shown me that it’s not always that simple, Life will humble you sometimes, and you will realize that dreams don’t always happen exactly the way you plan them, but that does not mean you give up,I still have my dreams , to finish my education well, to raise my kids in a way that makes me proud, and to make a name for myself on Hive and beyond, these are still burning inside me like a flame that I can’t just put off. Talking about financial freedom, for me it doesn’t mean being a millionaire or billionaire, I see financial freedom as when you don’t have to think twice before paying school fees, or when you can give your children what they need without struggling. When you can take care of yourself, your parents, and still have some leftover to save or enjoy, that kind of freedom is success to me, because if money was not so important, trust me, people wouldn’t be hustling the way we all do. But then, success is not only about money ,Imagine someone has all the money in the world but no peace of mind, or they don’t even have people they love around them, that one no be success in my eyes. Success is balanced , money plus happiness plus peace plus good health, all of them together make it sweet. Now to the question about when a person can say they are successful… I don’t think there is a final point where you just say, “Okay, I have done it all, I can now stop.” Life does not work like that, the truth is, as humans, once we achieve one dream, another one will come up, today you say you want a degree, tomorrow you want a house, then later you want your kids to succeed, and the cycle continues, for me, success is in the small wins , when you hit a milestone you once prayed for, when you achieve something you thought was impossible, those little victories, they count. So, am I living my dream now? See I cannot say I am fully there yet, but I am on the journey , I have faced setbacks, but I have also had moments of joy and also breakthroughs, and I think that is what makes life meaningful , as long as the fire is still burning in me to do better, then I know I am on the right path. And at the end of the day, life, dreams and success are somehow tied together, without dreams, life feels empty, without success, dreams feel wasted, but when you keep pushing, no matter how small, you will realize that success is not just one big thing at the end it is in the journey itself. _{*Image Is Mine*}
