Attaining success

It means having enough money to cater for your needs and that of your family while still having enough to spare. Financial independence is crucial to me because it's the peak level of life. When you're financially independent, your quality of life becomes better. Limitations are taken away. It's as if you're a free bird. You're free to do whatever you want, achieve several goals because you have the money for it. That's the financial freedom. We can all agree that at different points in our lives, there have been times when we wanted to do something, go somewhere or buy something, but we couldn't because we didn't have enough money for it. These are limitations due to finance. Financial independence solves it. Some people can be rich, have a lot of money, but they aren't financially independent. Yes, such people have a lot of money, but that money isn't enough to cater for their needs and responsibilities. They still struggle to keep up because even though they have so much money, a lot, if not all of it goes to sorting out various things. They barely even have enough to save. When you have financial independence, you're free to spend more time with your family. This is really important because the true definition of wealth isn't just the amount of money you have, it's also the friends and family that love you and a good health. You're free to do things that will impact people's lives greatly when you're financially independent. Another thing success means to me is having family and friends that care about me. Humans are social creatures. We can't survive without interacting with others. So when a person has a wonderful family, maybe a spouse, kids, siblings, other relatives that love them, that is success to me. This also applies to friends. When you have friends that can do a lot for you because they care that much, that is indeed success. The good thing is that these are the people that will stand for us when things go south. The people that love us will look out for us. They will come to our rescue when we need help. They'll be there when we're sad and when we're happy. That is in itself, success.
