'broken system'
The system was always broken by design, that way they can keep us in check. Every now and again they break it a little more, just so they can introduce more laws, to keep us even further in check. Keep everything on repeat, repeat, repeat, our greatest defeat. That's why it's hard to break out of the system, because they have us by the balls. With so many taxes in place to keep us working, just so that we can get through each day. But it continues to be a rat race, and we continue to play along. Because we have been convinced that we need them, in order to win, in life. But it's such a load of bull. How dependant they have made us on the system. Health, education, media, government.
Anything goes to shit and we run to them for solutions, whilst blaming one another for it happening in the first place. That's all part of the game, keep us divided, blaming each other. Keep us distracted, so that we don't actually look at who is really to blame. Divide us all up, by placing labels on us all. When at the end of the day, we are all humans, we all have the same wants and needs, trying to make our way in this broken system, that keeps us on our knees.
It's been a while since I took part in a free write, this one had a 5 minute timer. The minute I read the prompt, the words just keep flooding in. Cos I have a lot to say about this topic, about how everything is kept broken for a reason. Because if it didn't stay broken, then we wouldn't need those in power to come and pretend to fix it. To pretend to care about our well being. They keep us sick, so that we stay tied to the health system or more specifically to the pharmaceutical companies. Because that is where the money is. It's all business at the end of the day, health, education, media, they want to keep making a profit off of us, so they keep the system broken. It's in their best interests really, but not ours. And that is how they stay in power. Making promises about how they will fix this and that, but really they just make things worse. It was always designed to be broken, don't forget that.
Yes the system is broken, do we really want it fixed though? I don't, not by those in power. I'm all for creating something new, a system that is all about self empowerment and community. So leave it broken and lets create something new.
