Ba Na Mountain is located in Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City. You can travel to Ba Na Hill on your own by motorbike or taxi. Ba Na peak is 1487 m above sea level. This is considered a European-class tourist paradise, in the heart of Da Nang city. Ba Na amusement park is a famous destination of Da Nang city, annually attracting millions of domestic and foreign tourists. Ba Na Hill is likened to a fairyland of Vietnam that anyone who comes to Da Nang must want to visit once. Coming to Ba Na Hill, you will experience the Bodega Debay, the Post Office, the ancient church... You will enjoy the perfect natural beauty and the ancient architecture of the French village here. Ba Na was surveyed and discovered by the French in 1911. In the same year, the Governor-General of Indochina issued a resolution to turn Ba Na into a forest reserve. And after the first world war, the French officially turned it into a tourist resort for many leading officials and they were the first to design a guesthouse on the top of the mountain here. This mountain resort was designed by lawyer Besson. Since 1928, the road to the mountain was completed, the number of visitors to Ba Na increased day by day, mainly Vietnamese and French officials. It became a famous tourist center throughout Indochina, but after 1945 Ba Na gradually disappeared and was forgotten for nearly half a century due to the influence of wars. In 1997, after a long time of liberation, Da Nang city invested again and turned Ba Na into a large-scale ecological zone. In 2000, Ba Na regained its position as a famous tourist area of the Central region but still did not attract many tourists due to unprofessional management and wrong investment. In 2007, the complex was transferred to Sun Group to manage. Since then, the appearance of Ba Na Hills has been changed and is a favorite destination of tourists. In 2009, Sun Group Ba Na Hills inaugurated the Ba Na - Suoi Mo cable car route, followed by the construction of the French Village, the reconstruction of the Debay wine cellar with more than 100 years of history, and the spiritual areas on top of Ba Na. pagodas, the same old church, indoor playground, the most special feature is the Golden Bridge, which is one of the new symbols that attract many tourists to visit in recent years.
During my vacation trip on Christmas, I had a 2 day 1 night trip with my family at the top of Ba Na mountain.
