Today I'm going to recommend a manhwa that was one of the winners at the World Webtoon Awards. This manhwa is currently airing and can be found on platforms like Webtoon... I must admit that from the first few chapters, it caught my attention due to the intensity of the emotions conveyed in each episode (I'm warning that it also has some risqué scenes).

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:

Romance, flowers, and dates: once upon a time, that was the perfect description of Haesu and Mincheol. Now, Haesu is left with only the ashes of her marriage and a mountain of debt. But her world comes crashing down when Mincheol cheats on her with a young coworker. Hurt and betrayed, Haesu finds herself drawn to Taeha, a young man who seems desperate for her affections... and who may be hiding more than he shows.

A PAST MARKED BY PAIN:

At first glance, our protagonist, Haesu, seems fragile, but she struggles to convey her emotions clearly. Currently, her life has become an attempt to "survive," as she works various jobs and feels constantly at risk due to the debts she acquired with her ex-husband.

They tell us about a relationship that was destroyed due to infidelity (on the part of her ex-husband Mincheol), but as the plot progresses we realize that before that they became distant, cold and on his part obsessed with power and appearances... when before it was a relationship full of love.

She, who only wanted a peaceful home and true love, ended up devastated and heartbroken. Her life became a constant attempt to keep up appearances in an environment where genuine emotions were seen as weakness.

However, the most heartbreaking point of the plot is how, through small memories and silences, we can sense the loneliness and pain accumulated in her heart. Haesu is a person with wounds, fears, and a desire to start over.

YOU CAN ALWAYS START OVER:

With the passage of time and after their separation, our protagonist slowly tries to rebuild her life and heal her wounds. In this process, a new character appears... a very kind, caring person who is deeply in love with her. As we get to know him, we gradually realize that Taeha represents everything Mincheol wasn't with Haesu. (Taeha listens to her, doesn't judge her, and above all, values ​​her even when she herself feels she's no longer worthy of being loved.)

And the most beautiful thing about this "new relationship" (because they aren't 100% formal) is that it doesn't stem from idealizing the person, but from understanding. Taeha isn't trying to "rescue" her, but rather to accompany her in her healing process through simple gestures, honest words, and sincere glances.

LET'S TALK A BIT ABOUT TAEHA:

Taeha is one of those characters who (aside from being handsome) seems calm, rational, and self-confident. He always displays a calm demeanor, so much so that at times he becomes one of Haesu's pillars, supporting her through her separation.

Their relationship begins with distance and caution, with Taeha acting more as a silent observer, someone willing to help without invading the other's space (he accompanies her). But as he grows closer to Haesu, he begins to become more and more involved in her well-being, helping her regain her self-confidence, step out of her comfort zone, and believe in a possible future again.

Through various flashbacks throughout the plot, Taeha went through difficult times that led him to become the person he is today. He experienced betrayals at home that led him to lose faith in both love and people. Therefore, when he meets Haesu, the first thing he sees in her is a woman trying to put the pieces of her life back together, just like he does.

Finally, I highly recommend this manhwa because it is one of the stories that does not dramatize or exaggerate feelings, it invites us to reflect on the value of letting go of the past (although at times we will have funny and tense moments), being able to trust again and start from scratch, even when scars and wounds appear from time to time.

El día de hoy recomendaré un manhwa que fue uno de los ganadores en los World Webtoon Awards. Actualmente este manhwa se encuentra en emisión lo pueden encontrar en plataformas como Webtoon... debo admitir que desde los primeros capítulos me llamó la atención por la intensidad que transmite las emociones en cada capítulo (Aviso que también cuenta con escenas algo subidas de tono).

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:

Romance, flores y citas: antaño, esa era la descripción perfecta de Haesu y Mincheol. Ahora, Haesu solo tiene las cenizas de su matrimonio y una montaña de deudas. Pero su mundo se desmorona por completo cuando Mincheol la engaña con un joven compañero de trabajo. Herida y traicionada, Haesu se siente atraída por Taeha, un joven que parece desesperado por su afecto... y que quizá oculte más de lo que muestra.

UN PASADO MARCADO POR EL DOLOR:

Nuestra protagonista Haesu a primera vista parece una persona frágil pero que le cuesta transmitir sus emociones con claridad. Actualmente su vida se volvió en un intento por "sobrevivir" ya que cuenta con diversos trabajos y se siente en constante riesgo debido a las deudas que adquirió con su exesposo.

Nos hablan de una relación que se destruyó de acuerdo a una infidelidad (Por parte de su ex esposo Mincheol), pero conforme avanza la trama nos damos cuenta que antes de ello se volvieron distantes, fríos y por parte de él obsesionado con el poder y las apariencias... cuando antes era una relación llena de amor.

Ella, que solo deseaba un hogar tranquilo y un amor sincero, terminó destrozada y con el corazón roto. Su vida se volvió un constante intento de mantener las apariencias en un entorno donde las emociones genuinas eran vistas como debilidad.

Sin embargo, el punto más desgarrador de la trama es como a través de pequeños recuerdos y silencios, podemos sentir la soledad y el dolor acumulado en su corazón. Haesu es una persona con heridas, miedos y deseos de comenzar de nuevo.

SIEMPRE SE PUEDE VOLVER A COMENZAR:

Con el paso del tiempo y tras su separación, nuestra protagonista intenta poco a poco reconstruir su vida y sanar sus heridas. En ese proceso es donde aparece un nuevo personaje... una persona muy amable, atento y profundamente enamorado de ella, y conociéndolo poco a poco nos damos cuenta que Taeha representa todo lo que Mincheol no fue con Haesu. (Taeha la escucha, no la juzga y sobre todo valora incluso cuando ella misma siente que ya no es digna de que la quieran).

Y lo más bonito de esta "nueva relación" (Por que no se formalizan al 100%) es que no surge de la idealización de la persona, sino de la comprensión. Taeha no busca "rescatarla", sino acompañarla en su proceso de curar sus heridas través de gestos simples, palabras honestas y miradas sinceras.

HABLEMOS UN POCO DE TAEHA:

Taeha es uno de esos personajes que (Aparte de guapo) parece tranquilo, racional y seguro de sí mismo. Siempre muestra una actitud tranquila a tal punto de ser por momentos uno de los pilares de Haesu, donde la apoya en el proceso de su separación.

La relación de ellos empieza con distancia y cautela, Taeha actúa más como un observador silencioso, alquien que está dispuesto a ayudar sin invadir el espacio del otro (La acompaña). Pero a medida que se acerca a Haesu, comienza a involucrarse cada vez más y más en su bienestar, ayudándola a recuperar la confianza en sí misma, a salir de su zona de confort y volver a creer en un futuro posible.

De varios flashbacks que suceden a lo largo de la trama, Taeha pasó por momentos difíciles que lo llevaron a construir el tipo de persona que es actualmente. Vivió traiciones a nivel familiar que llegó a perder la fe tanto en el amor como en las personas. Por eso, cuando conoce a Haesu, lo primero que ve en ella es una mujer que intenta recomponer los pedazos de su vida igual que él.

Para finalizar, recomiendo mucho este manhwa por que es una de las historias que no dramatiza ni exageran los sentimientos, invita a reflexionar sobre el valor de soltar el pasado (Aunque por momentos tendremos momentos graciosos y tensos) , ser capaz de volver a confiar y empezar desde cero, aún cuando las cicatrices y heridas aparecen de vez en cuando.
