As I mentioned before, I'm still learning how to use and navigate this platform (I'm open to and accept any recommendations to improve the quality of each post and be able to present you with better content every day).

Today, I'll introduce you to a manhwa (webtoon) with a very entertaining and enjoyable plot. They even made it into a series, or more commonly, a "K-drama." It's a romance, drama, and fantasy genre.

This work is finished; it's an original work by Sungsojak, and it's been adapted by Studio Lico.

> Marry My Husband / Cásate con mi esposo / 내 남편과 결혼해줘**

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:

Jiwon dies in a terribly unjust way due to the violence of her husband, who was cheating on her with her best friend. But a miracle happens, and Jiwon wakes up 10 years in the past, before she's even married. She then sets her plan of revenge in motion. And now she won't stop until she gets her best friend to marry her husband!

FROM VICTIM TO PROTAGONIST:

Jiwon was a very submissive person, constantly sacrificing herself for others and trapped in a toxic environment. This happened because when she was a child, she was abandoned by her mother... however, her father was always there for her, supporting her no matter what and encouraging her to move forward... and above all, to be happy... unfortunately, her father passed away, leaving her alone and living a very difficult life (However, at the end of the plot, we realize that her father always cared for Jiwon; one could even say that he was the one who gave her a second chance). Years later, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, which led to depression as she was saddled with so many debts because of her husband and spent time alone in the hospital. After not hearing from MinHwan, she decides to leave the health center, takes a taxi and returns home sadly to find out that her husband MinHwan had a lover... it was SooMin (Their best friend), Jiwon decides to confront the 2, but unfortunately for her, she ends up dying. And this is where the story begins, after this outcome of the protagonist's life, the whole plot begins, in which she no longer wants to repeat the same mistakes that led her to that tragic and sad end, therefore she decides to change her destiny...

THE "LITTLE FRIENDS," OR AS I CALL THEM: THE WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING:

• Soo Min, a person who disguised herself as the protagonist's best friend and then took advantage of her, judging her, belittling her, and betraying her when she least expected it.

• Jiwon always loved her; she was one of the few people really close to her. However, Soo Min always felt superior (throughout the entire plot, she felt like she was in a competition to see who was better, or in this case, who would get Min Hwan).

• SooMin was a very careful person, in the sense that she tried to humiliate Jiwon numerous times. Something worth noting is that she pretended to be pregnant with MinHwan, faked the loss of a nonexistent baby, and even went so far as to go viral just to make her friend look bad (it didn't go well).

• The madness and constant rivalry SooMin had with Jiwon is excessive, so much so that it led to various situations that got out of hand, including ending the lives of her mother-in-law and her husband. SooMin later ended up in prison with a life sentence, but the story didn't end there. Even while imprisoned, she dedicated herself to making life miserable for the protagonist.

"WHAT'S MUST HAPPEN, WILL HAPPEN":

Anyone might think "She went back in time, everything will change, and that's it," but since nothing is ever rosy, she finds out that there are important situations or moments in her previous life that are inevitable, so she or someone else in her life will relive those events... It's worth noting that she didn't realize this at first, but small things happened that led her to that conclusion: dirtying her then-boyfriend because of her friend, burning herself with something hot... among other things.

However, there are much more significant things that happened again...

• CANCER: In her previous life, Jiwon's cancer was detected too late, which meant she couldn't get treatment in time... But this second time, she didn't get cancer, but her coworker, who became much closer to her, luckily she was able to get treatment in time and prevent this misfortune from happening again.

• INFIDELITY: Once again, her coworker was affected by the incident, as her husband was dating a coworker. Jiwon discovered this incident, and when she stepped outside, she ran into them both and became suspicious.

• THE WEDDING: One event we enjoyed was the grand wedding all readers expect, but in this case, it wasn't Jiwon and MinHwan's, it was MinHwan and SooMin's... without further ado, since I'd love for you to read it, I can tell you that this marriage was a disaster and very funny to read.

• DEATH: Jiwon thought she was going to die, or someone close to her... however, after SooMin's madness and various circumstances, MinHwan and his mother ended up dying, which led her to the ending I'd already mentioned (in prison).

JI HYUK, A PERSON WHO WAS ALWAYS THERE:

In this story, in which Jiwon makes it through her second chance, we meet Ji Hyuk. At first, he goes unnoticed and we recognize him as "our protagonist's new romance," but as the plot progresses, we realize he's more than that... Jiwon finds a letter from Ji Hyuk, along with dates marked on his calendar of events that were going to happen but that no one knew about except her. This is where she realizes that he, too, has gone back in time...

It turns out that while they were studying, the protagonists met thanks to an abandoned cat at the university. From there, Ji Hyuk adopted the cat and took notice of Jiwon, falling in love with her...

Later we realized that he was always there... When our protagonist dies, he went to her home and found her dead there... he completely broke down since he always loved her but never had the chance to tell her, since he saw her so happy with MinHwan that he didn't want to interfere, after Jiwon's wake he decides to go to the sea and end his life too, this is where he is given a second chance too and decides to change in his own way the tragic outcome that Jiwon would have.

(To avoid giving away too many more spoilers than I'm already saying) He becomes Jiwon's love interest, and I personally love this couple because it wasn't forced, it emerged naturally and continuously.

FINAL CONTRIBUTION / WHAT I LIKED AND DIDN'T LIKE:

• I liked how the plot unfolded step by step, both in the stories of the protagonists and the antagonists. In this particular case, I highlight how they gradually reflected SooMin's envy toward Jiwon, to the point where it was no longer a simple "rivalry," but rather presented a madness and obsession with MinHwan and everything related to Jiwon. From my perspective, I think anyone who reads this manhwa can assure that they might not like SooMin and MinHwan; they played their roles as antagonists too well.

• As I mentioned in the previous point, Soomin and MinHwan's treatment of Jiwon becomes a realistic portrayal of toxic relationships and how to learn to recognize them. There are times when you never know what kind of people you have around you. You may love them and even trust them... but unfortunately, they may not be the right people for you. This is where you realize what kind of friendship you should maintain for your mental health, and this is where you realize that this isn't just a "revenge" manhwa, but also a story about resilience, self-esteem, and the importance of surrounding yourself with people who truly add to your life.

• I really like that despite having a good number of chapters, the plot is so interesting that you don't even notice due to enjoying this show.

• A very important point to note is that the plot is not linear. Each protagonist's perspective is very well captured, including what happened before and after, both in their previous life and their second life, providing the reader with a much more elaborate context.

• In line with the previous point, I also think it's excellent that the plot doesn't just focus on the protagonists, but also gives a place to the secondary characters, allowing them to enter the plot naturally, without forcing any situation or telling a story too abruptly and quickly to minimize the importance of each one.

• The drawing, despite not being a very elaborate illustration in terms of detail or textures (improvements are seen as the chapters progress), perfectly conveys the entire situation, how the protagonists feel, what kind of expression they want to convey... It's something that is easily and conveniently understood and enjoyable.

Finally, this webtoon was well received and became well-known in 2022/2023 (if I remember correctly), and as I mentioned at the beginning... the hype was so great that it got a K-drama... I'll probably do a new post later about the episodes and whether they have a lot or a little similarity to this webtoon.

Como lo comenté anteriormente, aún estoy aprendiendo a utilizar y manejar esta plataforma (Me encuentro abierta y acepto cualquier recomendación para mejorar la calidad de cada publicación y poder presentarles un mejor contenido cada día).

Hoy les presentaré un manhwa (Webtoon) con una trama muy entretenida y fácil de disfrutar, incluso realizaron una serie o más conocido un "K-drama". Es del género romance, drama y fantasía.

Esta obra se encuentra finalizada, es un trabajo original de Sungsojak, y es adaptado por Studio Lico.

> Marry My Husband / Cásate con mi esposo / 내 남편과 결혼해줘**

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:

Jiwon muere de una manera terriblemente injusta a causa de la violencia de su marido, que la engañaba con su mejor amiga. Pero se produce un milagro y Jiwon despierta 10 años en el pasado, cuando todavía no se había casado. Entonces, pone en marcha su plan de venganza. ¡Y ahora no parará hasta lograr que sea su mejor amiga la que se case con su marido!

DE VÍCTIMA A PROTAGONISTA:

Jiwon era una persona muy sumisa, constantemente sacrificada por los demás y atrapada en un entorno tóxico. Esto sucede ya que cuando era una niña fue abandonada por su madre... sin embargo su padre siempre estuvo para ella, apoyándola pase lo que pase e impulsándola a seguir adelante... y sobre todo, ser feliz... lamentablemente su padre falleció, dejándola sola y viviendo una vida muy difícil (Sin embargo, al finalizar la trama nos podemos dar cuenta que el padre siempre estuvo cuidado a Jiwon, incluso se podría decir que el fue el que le permitió la segunda oportunidad). Pasando los años... a ella le detectan cáncer terminal, lo cual llega a deprimirse ya que contaba por muchas deudas por culpa del esposo y se la pasaba sola en el hospital. Tras no saber nada de MinHwan decide retirarse del centro de salud, toma un taxi y regresa a su casa tristemente para enterarse que su esposo Min Hwan tenía una amante... era SooMin (La mejor amiga de ambos), Jiwon decide enfrentarse a los 2, pero para desgracia de ella termina falleciendo. Y aquí es donde empieza la historia, tras este desenlace de la vida de la protagonista inicia toda la trama, en el cual ella ya no quiere repetir los mismos errores que la llevaron a ese trágico y triste final, por ende decide cambiar su destino...

LAS "AMIGUITAS", O COMO YO LES DIGO: EL LOBO EN PIEL DE CORDERO:

• Soo Min, una persona que se disfrazó de la mejor amiga de la protagonista para luego aprovecharse de ella, juzgándola, minimizándola y traicionarla cuando menos se lo esperó.

• Jiwon siempre la quiso, era una de las pocas personas muy cercanas a ella, sin embargo SooMin siempre se sintió superior (Durante toda la trama se sentía en una competencia de quien era mejor o en este caso, quién se queda con el MinHwan).

• SooMin era una persona de mucho cuidado, en el sentido que trató de humillar a Jiwon muchísimas veces, algo que destacar es que fingió estar embarazada de MinHwan, fingió una perdida de un bebé inexistente, incluso llegó a tal punto de hacerse viral solo para hacer quedar mal a su amiga (No le salió bien).

• La locura y la rivalidad constante que tenía SooMin contra Jiwon es demasiada, tanto que llevó a diversas situaciones que se le van de las manos, entre ellas termina con la vida de su suegra y su esposo, posteriormente SooMin acaba en prisión con cadena perpetua, pero ahí no terminó toda la historia, incluso presa se dedicó en hacerle la vida imposible a la protagonista.

"LO QUE TIENE QUE SUCEDER, SUCEDERÁ":

Cualquier persona puede pensar "Regresó en el tiempo, cambiará todo y listo", pero como nada es de color de rosa, se entera que hay situaciones o momentos importantes en su vida anterior que son inevitables, por ende esos acontecimientos los volverá a vivir o alguien más de su entorno... Cabe resaltar que al inicio no se había percatado de eso, pero sucedieron cosas pequeñas que la llevaron a esa conclusión, el ensuciar a su aquel entonces novio por culpa de su amiga, el quemarse con algo caliente... entre otras cosas.

Sin embargo hay cosas mucho más significativas que volvieron a suceder...

• EL CÁNCER: En su anterior vida, Jiwon fue detectada demasiado tarde de cáncer, lo cual no pudo realizarse los tratamientos a tiempo... Pero en esta segunda oportunidad el cáncer no lo obtuvo ella, sino su compañera de trabajo que se volvió mucho más cercana a ella, por suerte se pudo tratar a tiempo y evitar que suceda esta desgracia nuevamente.

• LA INFIDELIDAD: Nuevamente la compañera del trabajo fue afectada, en el que su esposo se encontraba saliendo con una con una compañera de su trabajo. Este acontecimiento fue descubierto por Jiwon, que al salir un momento se encontró con ambos y empezó a sospechar.

• LA BODA: Un acontecimiento que se pudo disfrutar fue la gran boda que todos los lectores esperan, pero en este caso no fue de Jiwon y MinHwan, fue de MinHwan y SooMin... sin nada más que decir ya que me gustaría que lo lean, puedo comentarles que este matrimonio fue un desastre y muy gracioso de leer.

• LA MUERTE: Jiwon pensó que ella iba a morir, o alguien de su entorno... sin embargo tras la locura y diversas circunstancias de SooMin, termina muriendo MinHwan y su madre, lo cual la llevó al final que ya había comentado (En prisión).

JI HYUK, UNA PERSONA QUE SIEMPRE ESTUVO AHÍ:

Dentro de esta historia, en la que Jiwon sale adelante en su segunda oportunidad, nos encontramos con Ji Hyuk, al inicio pasa desapercibido y lo reconocemos como el "Nuevo romance de nuestra protagonista", pero conforme va pasando la trama nos damos cuenta que es más que eso... Jiwon encuentra una carta de Ji Hyuk, junto con fechas marcadas en su calendario de acontecimientos que iban a suceder pero que nadie sabía más que ella, aquí es donde se percata que él también volvió el tiempo atrás...

Resulta que mientras estudiaban, los protagonistas se conocieron gracias a un gato abandonado que se encontraba en la universidad, desde ahí Ji Hyuk adoptó al gato y se fijó en Jiwon, enamorándose de ella...
