Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well and having a great weekend ❤️. Today I'm going to tell you about my experience with one of my favorite games. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I found a great deal on the PlayStation Store, and we jumped at the chance to buy and play it!

My boyfriend and I have similar tastes, but with a slight difference. We both know, play, and even compete in various games, but he's more into modern games or the ones you find online these days, while I prefer classic or "retro" games. But that doesn't mean we don't have a blast playing, laughing, and competing to see who gets the most points (but I always end up winning, HAHAHAHA, as you can see from player #2's score). And then there are the "continues" (I say "continues" because he dies a lot!), but that's all part of the fun.

FOR THOSE UNFAMILIAR WITH THE GAME:

Metal Slug is a run-and-gun shooter, released around the year 2000. Here, we can choose any of our four protagonists: Marco, Tarma, Fio, and Eri (I always choose Eri when I play).

Something that catches my attention about these games is the reference to the Nazis with their symbol. At the beginning of the game, we fight against them... but later we realize that they weren't the real enemies; the game ultimately transforms into a fight against aliens.

THE FINAL MISSION:

As I mentioned before, our initial objective is to defeat the soldiers as we advance. Along the way, we'll encounter all sorts of enemies, from mummies and zombies to carnivorous plants, Yetis, giant mosquitoes, robots, and more. The final battle was supposed to be defeating General Morden and the other soldiers, but after defeating him and believing we've finished the game, we discover he's been kidnapped by aliens... So, this final mission will take place in space!

This is where we have to become "all-terrain" as we must fight against UFOs to enter the ship... Then we must be ready to rescue the General and survive all the endless waves, the explosions everywhere and as we advance further and further it gets a little more complicated.

Our objective is to eliminate the "great core." Once we finally destroy it, we try to escape as quickly as possible to avoid the explosion and total destruction of the great ship...

But it doesn't end there... upon destroying the large ship, the final boss appears, a monster with its brain exposed, which we must destroy and dodge every attack with absolute precision.

And finally... upon completing the last mission, we'll end up in the middle of the ocean with a feeling of relief and victory... hearing the narrator's voice, "MISSION COMPLETE!!!" I definitely recommend these games (if you can't play it on PS, you can also find it on Steam). This game completely delivers a fun, challenging, and above all, nostalgic experience... And if you have the chance to play it with someone else, I highly recommend it!!! It's a great opportunity to share the laughs, frustrations... or as I see it, A GREAT SHIELD!!! HAHAHAHA

Hola a todos! Espero se encuentren bien y tengan un buen fin de semana❤️. El día de hoy les comentaré mi experiencia con uno de los juegos que disfruto muchísimo, ayer con mi novio encontramos una oferta en la tienda de PlayStation y al verlo no desaprovechamos la oportunidad de comprarlo y jugarlo!!!!

Mi novio y yo tenemos gustos similares pero con una ligera diferencia, ambos conocemos, jugamos e incluso competimos en diversos juegos, pero él es más de los modernos o los que encontramos hoy en día en línea y yo soy más de los juegos clásicos o "retro"... Pero esto no significa que no disfrutemos de un momento de muchísimas risas, competitividad por quien consigue más puntos (Pero siempre termino ganando yo HAHAHAHA y lo pueden ver en el puntaje del jugador #2) y "continuaciones" (Lo digo por que él es de morir muchísimas veces), pero todo eso es parte de la diversión.

PARA QUIENES NO CONOZCAN EL JUEGO:

Metal Slug es un juego de disparos del tipo "Run and gun", lanzado aproximadamente en el año 2000. Aquí tenemos la posibilidad de escoger a cualquiera de nuestros 4 protagonistas: Marco, Tarma, Fio y Eri (Siempre elijo a Eri cada vez que lo juego).

Algo que me llama la atención de estos juegos son la referencia que tienen a los Nazi con el símbolo, al inicio del juego vamos contra ellos... pero posteriormente nos damos cuenta que ellos no eran los verdaderos enemigos, sino que el juego termina transformándose en una lucha contra los alienígenas.

LA MISIÓN FINAL:

Como lo comenté anteriormente, nuestro objetivo inicial debemos ir derrotando a los soldados mientras avanzamos, en el camino encontraremos de todo tipo, desde momias, zombies, plantas carnívoras, "Yetis", mosquitos gigantes, robots, etc. Y se supone que la lucha final debía ser derrotando al enemigo General Morden junto a los demás soldados, sin embargo, al vencerlo y creer que ya culminamos el juego, nos damos cuenta que se encuentra secuestrado por aliens... Así que esta ultima misión será en el espacio!!

Aquí es donde nos tenemos que volver "Todo terreno" ya que debemos luchar contra los ovnis para entrar a la nave... Luego debemos estar listos para rescatar al General y sobrevivir ante todas las oleadas interminables, las explosiones por todas partes y mientras avanzamos cada vez más se vuelve un poco más complicado.

Como objetivo debemos eliminar el "gran núcleo", cuando por fin lo destruimos tratamos de escapar lo más pronto posible para evitar la explosión y la destrucción total de la gran nave...

Pero no todo acaba ahí... al destruir la gran nave aparece el boss final, un monstruo con su cerebro expuesto, el cual debemos destruir y esquivar todo ataque con absoluta precisión.

Y finalmente... al completar la última misión terminaremos en medio del océano con una sensación de alivio y victoria... escuchando la voz del narrador "MISION COMPLETE!!!". Sin duda alguna recomiendo mucho estos juegos (En caso no lo puedan jugar en PS, también lo pueden encontrar en Steam. Este juego nos llena completamente una experiencia divertida, desafiante y sobre todo llena de nostalgia a los buenos tiempos... Y si tienen la oportunidad de jugarlo con alguien más lo recomiendo muchísimo!!! Es una gran oportunidad para compartir las risas, frustraciones... O como yo lo veo UN GRAN ESCUDO!!! HAHAHAHA
