Hello everyone, and greetings to this community!!! As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm still learning how to use and navigate this platform (I'm open to and accept any recommendations to improve the quality of each post and be able to present you with good content).

Today, I'll introduce you to a manhwa (webtoon) that I really like, as it's not only entertaining or funny (which there is), but also helps you reflect and appreciate your loved ones (all the people you care about).

> Mom, I'm Sorry / Perdón, mamá**

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:

"Sorry, Mom. Please don't die." When Henry realizes that death is looming over his mother, he makes a deal with a very unusual merchant to grant her the rest of her life. Thus, his mother returns to being a twenty-year-old college student with her whole life ahead of her, while Henry spends his remaining days helping her live life to the fullest. But things get complicated when one of his friends falls in love with his mother!

MY OPINION:

The plot is straightforward: Henry is a teenager who finds out his mother has about a month to live. While it's true... this event becomes worrisome news for the protagonist, what made him feel bad was learning that the illness didn't develop overnight. Instead, the doctor informed him that Olivia (the mother) had been ill for at least 20 years.

After feeling guilty, Henry remembers every moment his mother asked him for help on various occasions, and he didn't even notice...

And this is where it all begins, as after making a deal, Henry grants his lifespan to Olivia... which means the protagonist has little time left. Without further ado, and to avoid TOO MANY spoilers, this is a work that teaches you many things.

FINAL CONTRIBUTION / WHAT I LIKED AND DIDN'T LIKE:

• The heartwarming plot moved me deeply and, above all, captivated me. It even put me in the character's shoes (I think anyone who has lost someone very important will have moments where they would have liked to be in Henry's position and give that person a certain amount of years to enjoy a little more...). Seeing how Henry tries to confront his past mistakes and fight to be a good son as time runs out was striking. The expressions and the courage he maintains throughout the story become something much more sentimental.

• The balance between a drama story with comedy and entertainment. As I've been mentioning, not everything is dramatization and sad moments as it seems. This work maintains a good balance, which creates a much more authentic reading.

• Within this story, if there was something that didn't completely resonate with me at the end of the story, it was the ending... From my perspective, it felt much rushed. Throughout the plot, I was hoping for a conclusion that would meet my expectations. (By this, I don't mean I didn't enjoy the reading or the ending. It did conclude well, but based on my personal taste and opinion, I feel it lacked a bit of detail to give it a proper closure.)

To conclude... this story is very enjoyable because it's somewhat profound, especially the "mother and son" bond that persists throughout the plot. The emotional impact is very captivating and moving, prompting reflection while reading. I highly recommend this manhwa, as it goes beyond the everyday, between romance and entertainment.

Hola a todos y un saludo a esta comunidad!!! Como lo comenté en una publicación anterior, aún estoy aprendiendo a utilizar y manejar esta plataforma (Me encuentro abierta y acepto cualquier recomendación para mejorar la calidad de cada publicación y poder presentarles un buen contenido).

Hoy les presentaré un manhwa (Webtoon) que me gusta mucho, ya que no solo llega es una obra con entretenimiento o risas (Lo cual también hay), sino que ayuda en la reflexión y a valorar a los tuyos (Toda la gente que aprecias).

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:

“Perdón, mamá. No mueras, por favor”. Cuando Henry advierte que la muerte se cierne sobre su madre, hace un trato con un comerciante muy particular para cederle a ella sus años de vida. Así, su madre vuelve a ser una universitaria de veinte años con toda la vida por delante, mientras que Henry pasa los días que le quedan ayudándola a vivir al máximo. ¡Pero las cosas se complican cuando uno de sus amigos se enamora de su madre!

MI OPINIÓN:

La trama es directa, Henry es un adolescente que se entera que a su madre le queda aproximadamente un mes de vida y si bien es cierto... este acontecimiento llega a ser una noticia preocupante para el protagonista, lo que le hizo sentir mal fue el enterarse que la enfermedad no surgió de la noche a la mañana sino que el doctor le informa que Olivia (la madre) lleva enferma por lo menos 20 años atrás.

Tras sentirse culpable, Henry recuerda cada momento en el que su madre le pidió ayuda en diversas ocasiones y él no se percató en ningún momento...

Y aquí es donde empieza todo ya que tras realizar un trato, Henry le otorga sus años de vida a Olivia... lo que significa que al protagonista le queda poco tiempo, sin más preámbulos y para no realizar DEMASIADOS spoilers es una obra que te enseña muchas cosas.

APORTE FINAL / LO QUE ME GUSTÓ Y NO ME GUSTÓ:

• La trama conmovedora me emocionaba mucho y sobre todo me atrapaba, incluso me ponía en posición del personaje (Creo que cualquier persona que perdió alguien muy importante si habrán momentos donde le hubiera gustado estar en la misma posición de Henry y brindarle cierta cantidad de años a esa persona para disfrutar un poco más...). El ver como Henry busca afrontar sus errores del pasado y lucha por ser un buen hijo mientras el tiempo se le acaba... fue algo impactante las expresiones y el valor que mantiene en toda la historia llega a ser algo mucho más sentimental.

• El equilibro entre una historia de drama con la comedia y el entretenimiento, como lo vengo mencionando, no todo es dramatización y momentos tristes como parece, esta obra mantiene un buen balance lo cual genera una lectura mucho más auténtica.

• Dentro de esta historia si hubo algo que no me cerró por completo al culminar el relato y fue el final... desde mi perspectiva lo sentí algo mucho más apresurado, durante toda la trama esperaba un cierre que mantenga mis expectativas. (Con esto no quiero decir que no me gustó la lectura o el final, si concluyó de la manera correcta pero como gusto personal y opinión propia, siento que le faltó una pizca de detalle para darle un cierre adecuado).

Para finalizar... esta historia se disfruta mucho ya que es algo profunda sobre todo el vínculo "madre e hijo" que se mantiene durante toda la trama, el impacto emocional que tiene es muy cautivador y conmovedor, lo que genera una reflexión durante la lectura. Recomiendo mucho este manhwa, ya que va más allá de lo cotidiano entre romance y entretenimiento.
