I’m still learning how to use and navigate this platform (I’m open and happy to receive any recommendations to improve the quality of my posts so I can bring you better content). Today I want to share a beautiful manhwa that I read some time ago and really enjoyed. The story is a mix of romance and fantasy.

This manhwa was released in 2021 and is already completed. It was written by Taeva, adapted by Early Flower, and the art belongs to Yoeseulki.

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:

Blondina lives her own version of Cinderella’s story. After a childhood filled with poverty and hardship, she discovers she is actually a princess of the Ates Empire. However, her father and half-siblings reject her when she moves into the palace, forcing her to keep a low profile. Everything changes when she meets Amon, a feline-like creature with mysterious intentions. For centuries, beings like Amon and humans have struggled to coexist in harmony. Will Blondina and Amon’s friendship bring peace, or will it deepen the rift between their worlds?

BRIDDY AND AMON:

From the beginning, what caught my attention was how Blondina (or Briddy) first met her future love interest, Amon Akin. At first, she thought he was just an injured animal she had stumbled upon.

Later on, she realized he was not a simple animal… that little “kitty” was actually quite difficult to understand at first because of his confusing behavior. (Personally, I completely fell in love with this character as the story went on, because he “has the guts” to face any adversity in order to protect the one he loves).

Even though their relationship isn’t a quick or instant romance (as I’ll mention later), it has so many meaningful moments that truly strengthen their bond. Seeing the protagonists from childhood and watching them grow makes the experience feel more genuine, which makes the story more exciting and helps you understand each character on a deeper level.

FINAL THOUGHTS / WHAT I LIKED AND DIDN’T LIKE:

• From the moment I started reading, I was captivated by how the story was handled. It goes beyond just a simple romance and happy ending (though at times it might feel a bit “cliché” because of some typical elements that appear throughout the plot twists).

• I really loved the chemistry between the protagonists — the tension, love, tenderness, and even the funny moments (there are scenes that are hilarious when you see how each of them is thinking while growing up and slowly developing feelings for one another✨). Their chemistry shows that they weren’t just brought together by chance — there’s always been something deeper behind it.

• The art… the way emotions are expressed, the drawings, the colors… honestly, I think these details complement the story perfectly. (I can even say that Amon looks incredibly attractive ❤️).

• I don’t want to give spoilers since I’d love for you to read it yourselves (or share your opinions if you already have), but what I really liked is that the plot doesn’t only focus on the main couple. It also explores the supporting characters in depth, showing their fears and thought processes, and how every decision affects the story. In some cases, you can even empathize with their behavior.

• Something that stood out for me was the development of Briddy’s brother, Lart. At first, he treated her terribly, but as time went on, he showed regret for his immature actions in the past. When he grew older, he chose to change and become a better person.

• One thing I didn’t enjoy as much was the pacing at the beginning. It might feel a bit heavy or slow, since there’s no immediate action or direct romance at first.

To wrap up… this is a story best enjoyed when you take your time with it. It’s not a manhwa to rush through — every little detail is worth it. If you’re looking for a romance filled with deep emotions, I highly recommend this one ❤️.

Hoy les muestro un manhwa muy bonito y me gustó muchísimo que leí hace tiempo, la trama trata algo de romance y fantasía.

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:

Blondina vive la historia de Cenicienta en carne propia. Luego de una infancia pobre y atravesar una niñez difícil, descubre que es una princesa del imperio de Ates. Sin embargo, su padre y medios hermanos enajenados le dan la espalda cuando se muda al palacio y Blondina debe mantener un perfil bajo. Todo esto cambia cuando conoce a Amon, una criatura felina con intenciones misteriosas. Durante siglos, las criaturas como Amon y la humanidad han luchado para vivir en armonía. ¿Podrá la amistad entre Blondina y Amon traer la paz o acaso profundizará la brecha entre sus pares?

BRIDDY Y AMON:

Al iniciar con la trama, me llamó mucho la atención como inicia Blondina (o Briddy), conociendo a su futuro interés amoroso Amon Akin, ya que ella pensó que era un animal herido que encontró.

Posteriormente, se percató que no era un simple animal... ese pequeño "gatito" algo difícil o complicado de comprender al inicio por sus actitudes algo confusas. (En lo personal me enamoré completamente de este personaje conforme va pasando la trama ya que "tiene los pantalones bien puestos" y es capaz de enfrentar cualquier adversidad para proteger a su amada).

Esta relación, a pesar de no ser un romance rápido e inmediato (Como mencionaré más adelante) tienen muchos momentos significativos que fortalece mucho su relación, el conocer a los protagonistas desde niños y observar como van creciendo te hace sentir una experiencia algo más genuina , lo cual se vuelve mucho más emocionante e incluso se puede entender mucho más a cada personaje.

APORTE FINAL / LO QUE ME GUSTÓ Y NO ME GUSTÓ:

• Desde que empecé a leerlo me cautivó como se iba manejando la trama y como va más allá de un simple romance y final feliz (Cosa que por momentos puede parecer algo "cliché" por ciertos elementos típicos que se podrán observar mientras se dan los giros en la historia).

• Me encantó mucho la química de los protagonistas, esta tensión, amor, ternura y risas (Hay unos momentos que dan demasiada risa ya que se observa como va pensando cada uno mientras van creciendo y cómo van teniendo poco a poco los sentimientos del uno al otro✨), esta química también demuestra que estos personajes no sólo se conocieron por accidente, siempre hubo algo detrás de toda esta historia.

• El arte... la manera en la que expresan las emociones, el dibujo, los colores... simplemente estos detalles se complementan muy bien con la trama a mi parecer (Puedo decir incluso que Amon se ve muy pero muy atractivo❤️).

• No quisiera hacer spoilers ya que me gustaría que lo lean o me den su opinión (En caso ya lo leyeron), pero si me gustó muchísimo como no sólo se basa en la trama de "Los protagonistas", sino que también explica mucho más a fondo los demás personajes a través de sus miedos (Un poco su forma de pensar) y como cada acción se ve contrastada en la trama y en algunos puntos puedes comprender y empatizar con ciertas actitudes.

• Algo que me gustó dentro de esta historia y como profundizan en parte algunos personajes es el desarrollo del hermano de Briddy... Lart, como antes después de tratar muy mal a su hermana, confirme va pasando el tiempo se muestra arrepentido por toda acción inmadura del pasado, y al crecer toma la decisión de no mantenerse así y mejorar como persona.

• Puedo decir que no me gustó mucho el ritmo que se manejaba al inicio, puede parecer algo pesado o incluso lento ya que no hay acciones inmediatas o un romance de manera directa.

Para finalizar... esta historia se disfruta mucho cuando uno simplemente se deja llevar en la cantidad de capítulos, esta obra es para leerlo con calma, sin prisas ya que cada detalle vale completamente la pena. Si alguien quiere leer algún romance cargado de sentimiento de por medio, le recomiendo mucho este manhwa❤️.
