Today, I'm introducing you to a very enjoyable and enjoyable K-drama. For those who've seen "Goblin" and are familiar with Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In-na, this drama could be the happy ending for the secondary couple in the show I'm talking about.

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:

Oh Yoon Seo (Yoo In Na) is a popular actress. She is famous for her beautiful looks, but her acting is poor. Due to controversies and scandals, her acting career is declining precipitously, so she accepts a script on the condition that she gain experience for the role, requiring Oh Yoon Seo to work as a lawyer's secretary for about three months. Meanwhile, Kwon Jung Rok (Lee Dong Wook) is a lawyer at a law firm. Despite being arrogant and cold-hearted, he reluctantly accepts his boss's plea to allow actress Oh Yoon Seo to work as his secretary for three months. Kwon Jung Rok immediately assumes Oh Yoon Seo's resignation, but she won't give up so easily.

OH YOON SEO - HER DEVELOPMENT AFTER HARASSMENT AND PRESSURE ON CAMERA:

The plot begins with our protagonist, a very beautiful actress (but a very bad actor) who must deal with the constant failure she faces after being rejected for various roles and scripts on programs. However, she has always carried with her affliction that caused her to disappear from the camera world for a while... this is due to a scandal involving fake news that affected her confidence and self-esteem (at the time, she couldn't adequately defend herself and was tried without any justification).

Despite all the bad times our protagonist experienced, she didn't give up and continued despite all the pressure she was under to improve. Yoon Seo showed great effort to land this new role after a long time, where she ended up working in a law office and being the secretary of lawyer Jung Rok. At first, there are many awkward situations, due to the actress's lack of knowledge in the field and a tendency to be somewhat clumsy at times, but little by little, it becomes a story of personal growth.

The goal was to properly fulfill her role as a secretary, and they even become involved in new cases or situations that Jung Rok had to deal with. The plot begins to deepen when our protagonists discover the case of a teenager who is being harassed and drugged by her partner, to the point of feeling insecure due to the control he wanted to exert over the victim. Yoon Seo decides to support this case because she felt identified after all the harassment she'd received previously and couldn't defend herself properly.

That moment is already valuable as a series, as it is the starting point for our protagonist, where she rebuilds her identity and learns to face social judgment and the cameras with much more firmness. From my perspective, this message conveyed by both the plot and the protagonist is inspiring, especially for those who have felt a similar burden or circumstance.

OH YOON SEO AND KWON JUNG ROK, CHARACTERS WHO SHOW GENUINE CHEMISTRY:

As I mentioned before, one of the great attractions of this K-drama is the chemistry between our protagonists, as they had already captivated and broken our hearts after the K-drama Goblin (NOTICE: IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO WATCH THAT K-DRAMA BEFORE, AS THEY HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP, ONLY THE ACTORS). Here, we see how they rekindle that complicity, but with a more subtle, romantic, and, above all, comical tone. The personalities of both characters create a sense of tenderness and realism even in the calmest or simplest scenes.

Although the plot revolves around serious topics such as media harassment and defamation, part of the plot is also characterized by a warm, fun, and, above all, romantic tone. The script begins to use the contrast between our protagonist's clumsiness and Jung Rok's professionalism, which creates unique situations (and the best part is that it doesn't feel forced).

Once our protagonists begin to coexist in this environment filled with awkwardness and emotions, Jung Rok begins to open up emotionally and reveal his true self to Yoon Seo, and she finds in him a person who, beyond being professional, finds a supporter who doesn't judge her for her past. This growth of our characters evolves thanks to the bond they build together.

DETAILS I LIKED AND WANT TO HIGHLIGHT, AND WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED:

• The staging conveys soft colors and moments that convey warmth, and it doesn't feel superficial or forced. Visually, it's very pleasing to watch, with the sets full of chemistry and meaningful moments. The realism they bring to the plot touches on certain cases (especially the criminal cases that take place in court), which in some way or another lends a lot of realism to the plot.

• The background music and the songs (also known as OSTs) are beautiful... the ones I liked the most were "Make It Count" and "What If Love."

• The romance our protagonists manage—I definitely can't imagine other actors playing those characters. The seriousness, poise, and charisma they demonstrate are something very unique to both of them... and when they come together, we can see a very beautiful play to enjoy.

• The messages it contains and inspires us about resilience, the work we must do on our self-esteem, giving ourselves a second chance because an adverse event doesn't define us as a person, and the effort to achieve our goals.

• The comedy and humor. There are definitely moments when you'll have a good time, laugh a lot, and, above all, enjoy moments that don't feel forced.

• Something I really like and emphasize is that the office space or law firm isn't just a linear and exclusive plot for our protagonists. In parallel, the story of our secondary characters is carried out at the same pace, giving them a certain uniqueness and contributing the warmth and humor that permeates our story. I think it's one of the K-dramas that remains somewhat more complete in that sense; it doesn't usually leave empty moments or unfinished business.

In conclusion, Touch Your Heart is much more than a romantic comedy K-drama. There's no shortage of laughter and tenderness, but it also leaves us with much deeper reflections and values ​​on a personal level, and how to heal. If you're looking for a drama that really makes you smile and you like crime (lawyers) and serious themes that leave you thinking, you should definitely check this out!

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:

Oh Yoon Seo (Yoo In Na) es una actriz popular. Ella es famosa por su hermosa apariencia, pero su actuación es mala. OH YOON SEO - SU EVOLUCIÓN DESPUÉS DEL ACOSO Y LA PRESIÓN ANTE LAS CÁMARAS:

La trama inicia con nuestra protagonista, una actriz muy guapa (Pero muy mala actuando) que debe lidiar con fracaso constante que tiene tras ser rechazada en diversos papeles y guiones de programas; sin embargo, ella siempre cargó con un acontecimiento que la hizo desaparecer un tiempo del mundo de las cámaras... esto se debe tras un escandalo con noticias falsas afectando su confianza y autoestima (En su momento no pudo defenderse de una manera adecuada y fue juzgada sin justificación alguna).

A pesar de todos los malos momentos que vivió nuestra protagonista, ella no se rindió y continuó a pesar de toda la presión que tenía al mejorar. Yoon Seo demostró mucho esfuerzo para conseguir este nuevo papel después de mucho tiempo, donde termina trabajando en una oficina de abogados y siendo la secretaria del abogado Jung Rok. Al inicio se perciben muchas situaciones incómodas, debido a que la actriz no tiene mucho conocimiento del rubro y suele ser algo torpe en ocasiones, pero poco a poco se convierte en una historia de crecimiento personal.

Se planteó como objetivo el cumplir de manera correcta su rol de secretaria, llegan a tal punto de vincularse a nuevos casos o situaciones que debía lidiar Jung Rok. La trama empieza a profundizar cuando nuestros protagonistas averiguan el caso de una adolescente que es acosada y drogada por su pareja, a tal punto de sentirse insegura debido al control que este quería tener hacia la víctima; Yoon Seo decide apoyar este caso ya que se sintió identificada tras todo el acoso que recibió anteriormente y no pudo defenderse como correspondía.

Ese momento ya es valioso como serie, ya que ese es el punto de partida para nuestra protagonista, donde reconstruye su identidad y aprende a enfrentar el juicio social y las cámaras con mucha más firmeza. Desde mi perspectiva, este mensaje que nos brinda tanto la trama como la protagonista es algo inspirador, especialmente para quienes han sentido algún peso o circunstancia similar.

OH YOON SEO Y KWON JUNG ROK, PERSONAJES QUE DEMUESTRAN UNA QUÍMICA GENUINA:

Como mencioné anteriormente, uno de los grandes atractivos de este k-drama es la química entre nuestros protagonistas, debido a que ya nos habían cautivado y roto el corazón tras el K-drama Goblin (AVISO QUE NO ES NECESARIO VER ESE K-DRAMA ANTES YA QUE NO TIENEN VÍNCULO ALGUNO, SÓLO LOS ACTORES). Aquí se observa como retoman esa complicidad pero de un tono más sutil, romántico y sobre todo cómico. Tanto la personalidad de ambos personajes genera que incluso en las escenas más tranquilas o sencillas transmitan ternura y sea realista.

A pesar de que la trama gira a temas serios como el acoso mediático y la difamación. Parte de la trama también es caracterizado por el tono cálido, divertido y sobre todo romántico. El guion empieza a utilizar el contraste de la torpeza de nuestra protagonista con el profesionalismo de Jung Rok, el cual genera situaciones únicas (Y lo mejor es que no se siente algo forzado).

Una vez que nuestros protagonistas empiezan a convivir en este ambiente lleno de torpezas y emociones, Jung Rok empieza con abrirse emocionalmente y demostrar como realmente es ante Yoon Seo, y ella encuentra en él una persona que muy aparte de ser profesional, encuentra un apoyo que no la juzga por su pasado. Este crecimiento de nuestros personajes evoluciona gracias al vínculo que construyen juntos.

DETALLES QUE ME GUSTARON Y QUIERO DESTACAR Y QUE COSAS PUDO MEJORAR:

• Las puestas en escenas, nos transmiten colores suaves y momentos que transmiten calidez y no se siente algo superficial y forzado. Visualmente es muy agradable de ver con los escenarios llenos de química y momentos significativos. El realismo que le ponen alrededor de la trama, toca ciertos casos (Sobre todo los casos criminales que llevan a corte), que de alguna u otra forma le brindan mucho realismo a la trama.

• La música de fondo, las canciones (O también conocido como OST) son preciosas... las que más me gustaron fueron "make it count" y "what if love".

• El romance que manejan nuestros protagonistas, definitivamente no imagino otros actores interpretando esos personajes, tanto como la seriedad, el porte y el carisma que demuestran es algo muy particular de los dos... y cuando se juntan, podemos ver una obra muy linda para disfrutar.

• Los mensajes que tiene y nos inspira sobre la resiliencia, el trabajo que debe realizar uno mismo con el autoestima, el darse una segunda oportunidad por que un acontecimiento desfavorable no te define como persona y el esfuerzo para conseguir nuestros objetivos.

• La comedia y el humor, existen momentos en los que definitivamente la pasarás bien, te reirás mucho y sobre todo disfrutarás de momentos que no se sienten forzados.

• Algo que me gusta mucho y destaco es que el espacio de oficina o "bufete" de abogados no sólo es una trama lineal y exclusiva para nuestros protagonistas, sino que en paralelo se lleva al mismo ritmo la historia de nuestros personajes secundarios, brindándoles cierta particularidad y aportando la calidez y el humor que se maneja dentro de nuestra historia. Creo que es uno de los k-dramas que se mantiene algo más completo en ese sentido, no suele dejar momentos vacíos o cosas inconclusas.

Para finalizar, Touch Your Heart es mucho más que un k-drama de comedia lleno de romance. Las risas y la ternura no faltarán, pero también nos deja reflexiones y valores mucho más profundos a nivel personal y como sanar. Si buscas un dorama que realmente te haga sonreír y te gusten las cosas criminales (abogados) y algunos temas serios que te dejen pensando, definitivamente deberías animarte a verlo!
