I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! ๐๐๐โก๐ฅ๐ฅโด๏ธโณ๏ธโ๏ธ๐ฃ๐ฑโจ๐ค
Warm greetings all! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
While I was hoping to reach 13,600 Hive Power before the end of the week, it did come quite close, with me crossing that threshold this morning. Although I still have a little under 1,400 HP to go to achieve my year-end goal of 15,000 Hive Power, which is still quite a lot, I'm confident that I'll successfully complete this formidable quest within that time frame. I'm grateful that I was able to invest another good chunk of fiat dollars into it, as that's what has now made reaching 15,000 HP before the end of the year feasible.
I'm also happy to say that I just crossed the threshold of 17,000 Blurt Power on Blurt, with my stake there continuing to grow quite quickly. With the liquid BLURT that I've been accumulating, I've been periodically sending chunks of it to Hive Engine, to add into various SWAP.BLURT diesel/liquidity pools, which aside from allowing me to grow my assets in those pools from pool fees, it also benefits me on Blurt for keeping my liquidity above 1,000+ SWAP.BLURT. I've also used some of my liquid BLURT to help a Hive friend create a Blurt account, and some to create our Blurt We Are Alive Tribe community account.
I've mentioned a few times in these posts that I've been accepting HP leases via Hive Engine, to boost my daily SWAP.HIVE income, of which I need a constant supply to add to assorted diesel/liquidity pools. Interestingly, I've had one lease for 1,000 HP extended multiple times already, and it's now approaching 3 months of being active. It's kind of a nice surprise, since I can keep the SWAP.HIVE payments from it flowing, as opposed to having to manually recall the delegation after the lease expires, wait 5 days, and then accept another lease. Aside from that one, I've accepted two other smaller HP leases for 500 HP each, one of which was something of a necessity, as I made a mistake with a direct manual delegation.
I had intended to delegate a chunk of HP to @centtoken, which I did, though I realized afterward that the HP delegations for that project are now managed via HP leases on Hive Engine. So I had to recall my direct manual delegation to @centtoken, wait 5 days for it to totally recall, and then finally accept an HP lease for that account on Hive Engine. The APR for that lease is a little lower than it is for my other two, but the weekly payouts in HIVE and HBD that are also sent, in addition to the daily SWAP.HIVE lease payouts, should make up for it very well.
Since I just made another major investment into my Hive Power, which is my second to date, I decided to use some of that new HP to give me a layer-2 boost in my daily SWAP.HIVE income, which then allows me to invest more deeply in many excellent diesel/liquidity pools. That strategy is working very well I'd say, with my total asset liquidity for all pools approaching $600 in fiat value. From what I learned with my $600 3-pool experiment, I've been focusing on increasing my liquidity as much as I'm able in certain excellent pools, like SWAP.HIVE:DEC and SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC, that are now growing well even with far less liquidity. It's funny, I just realized one of the reasons that I don't get into a lot of Hive games, or games in general lately, is because investing, leveraging, and growing assets is a very fun game in itself for me (though of course playing games on Hive allows us to do that too with their respective game assets). The rest of this year will be spent, aside from reaching my goals, balancing out my investments across the various significant Hive investment domains, which is going quite well so far, with assets growing faster all the time. Yep, this stuff is a whole lot of fun!
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive and Alive Tribe tasks, just before 2:45PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and straining and blending kefir. When I had those both completed, I went to Braja's place to sign some paperwork (to redefine my relationship to GaiaYoga), after which I chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and tidied the area a bit. With that done, I took a quick asset management break up at the Flow House, and then I met up with Avi, to help him set several GPS points for a GaiaYoga map app on which he's working, by walking around with him to show him various trails and their intersections, and fence boundaries. Once we finally finished that, I went to the Landing to make myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini beef patties, and horseradish mustard), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand(s), I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 9PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed super early, just after 10PM. I woke up just after 7AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:15PM, so it's a marvelous time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
