I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! ๐๐๐โก๐ฅ๐ฅโด๏ธโณ๏ธโ๏ธ๐ฃ๐ฑโจ๐ค
Warm greetings all! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
I finally began updating my post templates on PeakD, something I've been meaning to do for a while now, and which was originally motivated by my desire to start publishing my plant-and-garden posts in the HiveGarden community once again, and to begin publishing my nature photography in the Visual Shots community. I made some good headway, though I still have a few refinements and tweaks to do. I also still have to mirror my updated templates to the PeakD beta site (redundancy is a very good thing), which I'll do in another free moment. I'm happy to have finally gotten this process rolling, and I feel new posts brewing and bubbling already.
One of the updates that I made to all my templates was to add footer links to the We Are Alive Tribe for both Hive and Blurt (which I added to the footer of this post, too):
Come join us in the We Are Alive Tribe on Hive and on Blurt!
I figure that it's about time to promote our beloved community a bit more, and on both Blockchains. I'll likely refine the text a little more, likely adding a short community description, though I'm just letting it percolate as to how for a bit first.
With the We Are Alive Tribe now present and active on the Blurt Blockchain as well, both @benthomaswwd and I have the intention of writing and publishing regular original Blurt posts, in addition to our usual original Hive posts, though finding or making the time to do so is still rather challenging for the both of us. We think that it's important, and where there's a will, there's a way, so we shall see. To do that, I also need some new post borders and dividers, since I can't use my Hive versions, so now to search for, or make, some good Blurt iterations.
To leave my schedule a bit more open and flexible in relation to my new Hive posts, I'm planning to publish them in the GardenHive and the Visual Shots communities perhaps a few times per month for each one. That way I won't have to stress about writing extra weekly posts, and it gives me more time to plan the focus for each post. I still have to decide on a good cadence for my original Blurt posts, however.
Ben and I were also talking about doing weekly community BLURT powerups, probably on Tuesdays (when we do our ALIVE powerups on Hive), though I'm not sure yet from where I'm going to get extra BLURT for this purpose, since I send most of the liquid BLURT that I receive to Hive Engine, to add into the SWAP.BLURT diesel/liquidity pools, which also benefits me on Blurt. My BLURT powerups may just have to be a little more modest, at least in the beginning. With our present time availability, getting things flowing and rolling on Blurt will likely happen a little bit at a time, but we're focused on getting as much mutually-beneficial cross-chain synergy going as soon as we're able.
Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little after 2:15PM, and since I already had 2 days of photos ready for these posts, that wasn't an immediate concern, so I focused my energies elsewhere. I spent some time in the Landing with Avi looking at a digital map that he's been making for GaiaYoga, and offering suggestions on how to improve it. After dropping Braja's two laptops back off at her place (after cloning one SSD drive to the other), I went to collect coconut water and coconut meat from several younger coconuts, with Avi's help, to start another round of kefir fermenting. When we had that completed, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which Avi assisted me in another round of walking around the property for banana harvesting. Once that was finally done, I made my way back to the other side of the property, to take a shower, stop off at the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then to head back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 9:30PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just after 11:30PM. I woke up a bit after 6AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 11:30AM, so it's a fantastic time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
