Since I successfully sold my off-chain PKOIN assets (in two chunks) last week and going into this week, and sending the larger portion of my profits to my Hive wallet (as LTC), I've had an intense daily focus on trading on BitForex and Hive Engine, to grow my existing assets as much as I'm able before my hopefully huge power up for HPUD on September 1st. So far my trading had been a mix of successes and frustrations, but it's still progressing reasonably well, just a bit slower than I'd like. One small note that I forgot to mention is that I sent the SWAP.HIVE that I have so far over to my second account, @tydyn.rain to do the trading, to keep the finances separate, otherwise it would get far too confusing.
I set an end goal of reaching 3,300 HIVE before consolidating everything in my Hive wallet, and converting my SWAP.HIVE into HIVE, in preparation to power up. So far I'm still under by approximately 500 HIVE, which is not bad at all, but it is still a sizeable chunk. I'll keep trading the best I can over the next 15 or so days, visualizing and feeling it as already successfully completed, and praying that the crypto fairies look kindly upon me.
Another concern I have once all my assets are consolidated in my Hive wallet as SWAP.HIVE is being able to swap between SWAP.HIVE and HIVE without losing too much in conversion fees. If the timing works (when lots more SWAP.HIVE is required on USwap Discount Bridge), then I'll be able to do it for free, which would be brilliant. So much about successfully attaining dolphin level by September 1st for HPUD depends on timing, which is also why it's a tad nerve-wracking. Things may not coincide by the time I need. If they don't, I'll reach dolphin level some time later in September (or wait until October HPUD). I'll do everything I can to make it all work by the 1st of next month, though!
I could withdraw my HBD from Savings to reach my September 1st goal, but given the equal importance to me of growing my HBD in Savings as much and as quickly as I can, to help me reach my longer-term goal of reaching 600,000 HP and whale level, this is not an option. So continuing to trade the assets that I have on BitForex and Hive Engine, in addition of course to what I receive from post payouts and curation, is my present plan to reach my goal. Liquidating some higher-value non-essential tokens is also an option.
Whether or not my efforts and timing are successful for me to reach dolphin level by September 1st, attaining that level is very close indeed in any case, and I'm excited regardless! Once dolphin level is surpassed, then it's on to my next big goal of reaching orca level!
Yesterday was one of those days which really just did not flow very well at all. Because of my concerns around my crypto trades, I was only able to sleep a few hours the night before, so I felt exhausted all day. Also I wasn't able to get any of my Hive catch-up and tasks done in the morning, as I was rather distracted while writing the previous incarnation of this post, so it took longer. On top of that we had a community NVC meeting at 1PM, which was just a really bad time for me (I didn't go until I had the last version of this post published first), as it took up way too much time that I usually devote to Hive. Because I didn't get my Hive catch-up or tasks done beforehand, and the NVC meeting ended at 3:30PM, out or necessity I spent the rest of the day and evening focusing on catching up on Hive, aside from taking about an hour to help Iolanthe collect ylang-ylang flowers, so that she could make an essential oil with them. I wasn't able go do any land work, as there was just not sufficient time. I didn't even stop to make myself any food, but rather I subsisted on my superfood fire coffee and my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, so I didn't eat any solid food at all yesterday...😂 I even forgot to take most of the photos for this post yesterday, so I had to do it this morning. At least I was able to catch up fully and get everything done by the time I went to bed last night!
My DEC sell order (finally!) went through this morning, so I got a little more SWAP.HIVE, which is great. Finding suitable tokens to trade on Hive Engine is a challenge, since I'm working with so much SWAP.HIVE (presently 1,907). I have one BTC sell order on BitForex that I'm really hoping goes through soon. I far prefer trading SHIB rather than BTC, as it's so much easier to make gains, but SHIB was too high to buy, so I went with BTC for a round. If anyone has any suggestions on a good lower-value, higher-volume token to trade on Hive Engine, I'd love to hear about it!
