Прийняття Біткоїна потребує глобальної довіри, як психологічної концепції. Довіра не виникає спонтанно й потребує часу. Хоча сам блокчейн влаштований таким чином, що не потребує ніякої довіри. З блокчейном ситуація склалася таким чином, що найчастіше його просто не розуміють, не хочуть розбиратися, а сподіваються на авторитетні висновки, котрим довіряють. Але експертних висновків зараз така кількість, що одні викликають довіру інші ж навпаки. Для переважної кількості людей, котрі знайомляться з блокчейном, найважливішим залишається старий принцип довіри, наприклад, як до банку. Така думка у мене склалася в результаті розмов з багатьма людьми. Більшість із них називали Біткоїн пірамідою, схемою Ч. Понці, інноваційною технологією для відмивання коштів, бульбашкою, повітрям, казино... Усі люди, з котрими я мав розмови, не чули про протоколи другого рівня, документ Сатоші, можливість розробок в блокчейні, Сатоші, децентралізацію, різні види майнінгу тощо. Вони отримували й отримують інформацію з топу пошукових систем. Вони потребують сліпої довіри до блокчейну Біткоїна, як до звичайного банку.

І коли ціна злетить до неочікуваних максимумів, про Біткоїн заговорять навіть представники державних органів, використовуючи для цього різні способи комунікації. І їм повірять усі ті, хто звик просто вірити, ідеалізувати, мислити не критично.
Зараз ще не пізно змінити свою думку, але це не потрібно робити зі сліпою вірою в цей допис. Необхідно сформувати здорову віру, а вона в нашому випадку базується на економічній грамотності, фактах, оцінці фінансової ситуації, логічному мисленні, особистому досвіді й об'єктивних переконаннях.
