Hi guys I want to share with you how I made the best moi moi at work today. Today at work, I decided to raise the bar. I was on a mission to make the best moi moi my kitchen had ever seen and I wasn’t playing.@citimillz
I started with the basics, peeled the beans myself. No shortcuts. Just me, the bowl, beans, water and my grater
Then I blended them smooth with fresh red peppers, onions, and just enough Scotch bonnet to give it a nice kick. I added vegetable oil then seasoned the mix with salt, stock cubes, ground crayfish. When I tasted it, I smiled. It was already tasting delicious, Then I put them in nice containers before adding my boiled eggs, after that I put them in my pot then poured in some boiled water, placed it on my cooker and steamed them gently.
When they came out? Firm, rich, and full of flavor. The color was perfect. The aroma? You could smell it down the hallway. My fellow chefs took a bite and all shouted with smiles on their faces wow!! Then I smile because I know want I can do, I nailed it.
Today, moi moi wasn’t just a side dish, it was the star of the kitchen.
