El Regalo de Cumpleaños de mi Hermano - [Esp-Eng]

 Hola a todos, bienvenidos a mi blog. Ser hermano mayor no es fácil, implica ser el que hace los mandados de padres y hermanos, y muchas veces implica hacer trabajo mandados que no queremos. Se acerca el cumpleaños de mi hermano menor. Y con motivo de ello, mis padres me asignaron la difícil misión de comprar un Smartphone para mi hermano como regalo de cumpleaños. En lo personal, no apruebo, pues considero que a los 11 años aún se está muy pequeño para tener un celular propio entre tus manos. Peeeeero, dijeron que el dinero sobrante (si es que sobraba), me lo podía quedar yo, y con eso en mente, me aventuré al cc Sambil a comprar el móvil. El horario de mi trabajo no me deja casi tiempo libre para disfrutar con amigos, así que aproveché el momento también para invitar a un par de amigos a que me acompañaran a comprar el celular; y así matar dos pájaros de un solo tiro. En realidad, no era una misión difícil. Pues buscaba un celular de gama baja que rondara los 100$, cuyas características del celular no le permita descargar tantos juegos y usarlo como gameboy, pero que tampoco sea tan chimbo. Y conozco el mercado, y sé que hay muchos celulares así. A pesar de la sugerencia de caminar todo el centro comercial buscando precios y modelos, hice caso omiso a ello y únicamente busqué una tienda que aplicase descuento al pagar con divisas. Fotografié varios modelos, y me tomé varias fotos en varias tiendas, únicamente para demostrar a mis padres que caminé todo el centro comercial buscando el celular. Fue chévere la experiencia, pues desde que llegué a la tienda me puse con mis amigos a comer botanas, y a hacer tiempo para poder compartir más con ellos. La vendedora que nos atendió fue súper amable y también se divirtió con nosotros y con nuestra falta de seriedad. Al final, compramos un celular ZTE de 92$. Bastante básico, tal como lo buscaba, y tenía una promoción en la cual el celular venía con una línea Digitel, la cual la vendedora me ayudó a activar en el momento. Estuvo divertido. Pude compartir con mis amigos un rato, demostrar que soy un joven responsable ante mis padres, comprar el regalo de cumpleaños de mi hermano; y de paso, ganar 8$ de viáticos...  Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. Being the older sibling isn't easy. It means doing errands for your parents and siblings, and often means doing chores. My younger brother's birthday is coming up. And because of that, my parents have given me the difficult task of buying my brother a smartphone as a birthday present. Personally, I don't approve, as I think that at 11 years old, he's still too young to have his own mobile phone. But, they said that I could keep any money left over (if there was any), and with that in mind, I ventured to Sambil shopping centre to buy the phone. My job doesn't leave free time to me to enjoy with friends, so I took advantage of the moment to invite a couple of friends to accompany me to buy the mobile phone, thus killing two birds with one stone. In reality, it wasn't a difficult task. I was looking for a low-end mobile phone that cost around £100, with features that wouldn't allow it to download many games and be used as a Gameboy, but that wasn't too cheap either. I know the market, and I know there are many mobile phones like that. Despite the suggestion to walk around the entire shopping centre looking for prices and models, I ignored it and only looked for a shop that offered a discount when paying with foreign currency. I photographed several models and took several photos in several shops, just to show my parents that I had walked around the entire shopping centre looking for the mobile phone. It was a cool experience, because as soon as I got to the shop, I sat down with my friends to eat snacks and kill time so I could spend more time with them. The saleswoman who helped us was super friendly and also had fun with us and our lack of seriousness. In the end, we bought a $92 ZTE mobile phone. It was quite basic, just what I was looking for, and there was a promotion where the phone came with a Digitel line, which the saleswoman helped me activate on the spot. It was fun. I got to spend some time with my friends, show my parents that I'm a responsible young man, buy my brother's birthday present, and earn £8 in travel expenses.
