Mi experiencia de mi 1er torneo de FIFA - [Esp/Eng]

 Hola a todos, amigos de hive. Bienvenidos a mi blog. Hace días vi un flyer en las redes sociales del C.C Parque Costazul, que hablaba acerca de un torneo de FIFA y Super Smash brothers en la feria del centro comercial. La inscripción equivalía exactamente al precio de mi almuerzo de ese día, y como adolescente irresponsable que soy, decidí inscribirme por la experiencia. En general, el ambiente era ameno. Éramos alrededor de 50 nerds adolescentes jugando videojuegos. Abundaba el olor a humedad y pubertad, y los chistes misóginos eran demasiado, incluso para mi. Cabe destacar que no había ni una sola representante del sexo femenino entre los participantes, salvo por alguna madre de alguno de mis rivales más temidos. Fue extraño. Me consideraba bastante bueno en ambos videojuegos, me presenté como un simple mortal, y quedé en ridículo pues, participaban clubes de jugadores online, con experiencia en torneos y entrenamientos diarios. No fue muy chévere el momento. Los grupos de niños de 15 años, cuya crueldad al hablar solo es comparable con una madre enojada, no me tomaron en serio desde que me vieron, y para colmo, era un torneo de eliminación directa y en el fútbol perdí 5-0 y el smash en 2 rounds, cosa que me hizo objeto de burla pública. Tomo nota para el futuro, y es que a estos eventos en definitiva no se debe venir solo, siempre es bueno venir acompañado, además de que también se debería practicar un poquito antes de participar y llevar palizas. Lo único bueno de este torneo, fue la derrota sin piedad que le propiciaron al mal concebido de mi archienemigo (y único rival que me ganó 5-0). Estoy consciente de que está mal alegrarse de la infelicidad ajena, pero me siento satisfecho de que un héroe haya cobrado mi venganza. Definitivamente no recomiendo jugar estos torneos, a no ser de que tengas una habilidad excepcional para estos videojuegos. Al final no almorcé, y nada más quedó la experiencia. La verdad yo no sé porqué me metí en eso si a mí lo que me gusta es jugar Scrabble. Bueno, para la próxima será. Muchas gracias a todos por leer y compartir. Hasta la próxima

A few days ago, I saw a flyer on social media for the Parque Costazul Shopping Centre, which mentioned a FIFA and Super Smash Bros tournament at the shopping centre fair. The registration fee was exactly the same as the price of my lunch that day, and being the irresponsible teenager that I am, I decided to sign up for the experience. Overall, the atmosphere was enjoyable. There were about 50 teenage nerds playing video games. The smell of dampness and puberty was abundant, and the misogynistic jokes were too much, even for me. It should be noted that there was not a single female participant, except for the mother of one of my most feared rivals. It was strange. I considered myself pretty good at both video games, I presented myself as a mere mortal, and I was ridiculed because there were online gaming clubs participating, with experience in tournaments and daily training. It wasn't a very pleasant moment. The groups of 15-year-olds, whose cruelty in speech is only comparable to an angry mother, didn't take me seriously from the moment they saw me, and to top it all off, it was a knockout tournament and I lost 5-0 in football and 2 rounds in smash, which made me the object of public ridicule. I'll take note for the future, which is that you definitely shouldn't come to these events alone; it's always good to come with someone, and you should also practise a little before participating and getting beaten up. The only good thing about this tournament was the merciless defeat inflicted on my ill-conceived arch-enemy (and the only rival who beat me 5-0). I am aware that it is wrong to rejoice in the misfortune of others, but I am satisfied that a hero has taken my revenge. I definitely do not recommend playing in these tournaments, unless you have exceptional skill at these video games. In the end, I didn't have lunch, and all that was left was the experience.
