Hola a todos, bienvenidos a mi blog. Es un honor para mí poder publicar en esta hermosa comunidad de la cual me siento tan orgulloso, especialmente de mi confidente @rlathulerie.
Unos de mis rincones favoritos de la isla, es sin duda la **playa Guacuco**, el lugar de mis amores y tristezas, lágrimas y corazones, algunos besos, cócteles y rones.
Siendo la única playa del municipio Arismendi, Guacuco es una playa que **ofrece todos los servicios que el turista (y el local)** puedan querer. A lo largo de sus 2km de extensión, convergen muchas corrientes, lo cual hace que sea más calmada en algunas zonas, sin embargo, en otras zonas se puede surfear sin ningún problema.
Además, tiene fuertes vientos que hacen que sea común ver a niños volando cometas, papagayos y volantines en todas las épocas del año.
He venido desde que tengo 5 años y la ha visto cambiar mucho, algunas construcciones, algunas tormentas que han cambiado sus arenas, o simplemente el paso del tiempo.... Y me agrada decir que en los las de 10 años que llevo viniendo todos los meses a pesar de esos cambios se mantiene tan bella como el primer día.
Algo que me gusta de esta playa son sus atardeceres, pero mejores son sus amaneceres, ya que está ubicada al mero este de la isla, y se aprecia totalmente el sol. Los colores son hermosos. Otra bondad que tiene, es que es una playa poco profunda, perfectamente podrías estar 100mts dentro del mar y el agua aún podría llegarte al pecho. El agua es transparente y no tan fría, y como si esto fuera poco, está tan cerca de mi casa que puedo llegar caminando solo 4 minutos. Sin duda alguna, mi lugar feliz. De verdad, me encanta mucho esta playa, he crecido aquí, y aquí me gustaría morir. Así que si no la han visitado, se la recomiendo totalmente.

Being the only beach in the municipality of Arismendi, Guacuco is a beach that **offers all the services that tourists (and locals)** could want. Throughout its 2km of extension, many currents converge, which makes it calmer in some areas, however, in other areas you can surf without any problem. In addition, it has strong winds that make it common to see children flying kites, parrots and kites at all times of the year.     I have been coming here since I was 5 years old and it has seen it change a lot, some constructions, some storms that have changed its sands, or simply the passing of time..... And I am pleased to say that in the 10 years that I have been coming here every month, despite these changes, it remains as beautiful as the first day.    Something I like about this beach are its sunsets, but even better are its sunrises, since it is located at the very east of the island, and the sun can be fully appreciated. The colors are beautiful. Another good thing is that it is a shallow beach, you could perfectly be 100 meters into the sea and the water could still reach your chest. The water is clear and not so cold, and as if this were not enough, it is so close to my house that I can walk only 4 minutes. Without a doubt, my happy place. I really love this beach, I grew up here, and I would like to die here. So if you haven't visited it, I highly recommend it.
