Visiting the Bay Side - A new Experience - [Esp/Eng]

 Hola a todos, bienvenidos a mi blog. Espero estén teniendo una linda semana tal como lo estoy haciendo yo. El fin de semana pasado tuve el placer de compartir de nuevo con amigos. Después de una semana tan larga como lo fue la semana pasada, el reunirnos tan solo para pasar un rato juntos era totalmente una victoria. Lamentablemente nosotros cantamos victoria, pero el sistema eléctrico de nuestro país no está muy de acuerdo con nosotros. En vista de las fallas eléctricas que sufriamos, el papá de una de mis amigas nos invitó muy amablemente a pasar el rato en una playa cercana, específicamente al "bay side". Al llegar al Bay side; el padre de mi amiga, el señor Eduardo, y yo, mantuvimos una poco amistosa conversación acerca de lo que definíamos como playa, pues desde mi punto de vista, al menos deberían tener arena y alguna palmera (opcional). Mr Eduardo únicamente decía que si tenía agua salada y era posible bañarse en ella, no habían motivos para discutir. Me sentí orgulloso de haber ganado dicha discusión, pero ¿a qué costo? El tenía razón. Ocurre que de playa tenía muy poco, parecía más un puerto o un muelle que la población local utilizaba para bañarse y divertirse solamente porque le queda más cerca que otras playas más lejanas. Honestamente yo no me bañaría, pero habían muchachos bañandose en dicho puerto. A todas estas, mientras nosotros sosteníamos el debate léxico, las chicas se sentaron en el borde del muelle a mojar sus tobillos y a chismear. Se me ocurrió apreciar el paisaje y mirando a mi alrededor vi una extraña escultura en la tierra, la cual después de analizar concluí que era o un reloj solar o una brújula. Gracias a Dios avisaron que llegó a luz y nos regresamos a seguir la pachanga. Pasamos un rato muy chévere en el Bay Side. En lo personal no recomiendo ir, ya que no hay mucho que hacer, pero sentarse a comer helado viendo el atardecer debería ser chévere.  Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a wonderful week, just as I am. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of spending time with friends again. After such a long week as last week was, just getting together to spend some time together was a total victory. Unfortunately, we may have been celebrating, but our country's electrical system didn't quite agree with us. In light of the power outages we were experiencing, the father of one of my friends kindly invited us to spend some time at a nearby beach, specifically the "bay side". When we arrived at the bay side, my friend's father, Mr Eduardo, and I had a somewhat unfriendly conversation about what we defined as a beach, because from my point of view, it should at least have sand and some palm trees (optional). Mr Eduardo simply said that if it had salt water and it was possible to swim in it, there was no reason to argue. I felt proud to have won the argument, but at what cost? He was right. It turned out that it had very little in common with a beach; it looked more like a port or a pier that the local population used for swimming and having fun simply because it was closer than other beaches further away. Honestly, I wouldn't swim there, but there were kids swimming in that port. Meanwhile, while we were having our lexical debate, the girls sat on the edge of the pier to wet their ankles and gossip. I decided to appreciate the scenery and, looking around, I saw a strange sculpture on the ground, which, after analysing it, I concluded was either a sundial or a compass. Thankfully, they announced that it was light, and we went back to continue the party. We had a great time at Bay Side. Personally, I don't recommend going, as there isn't much to do, but sitting down to eat ice cream while watching the sunset should be nice. Thank you all very much for reading and sharing.
