A walk in the Norwegian forest ~ Observing alien mushrooms.

I have a facination for fungi that might be above the average. They come in so many amazing colors and shapes, and can grow in the most unbelivable conditions.

Food fungus, psychedelic, non-edible but beautiful to look at. Medicinal, healing, weird little things.

Last autumn in Norway, It was a really good mushroom year due to all the rain. I spent a lot of time at my cabin close to Tyrifjorden exploring the fields and forests around, and they popped up everywhere!

This one reminds me of a flower, in a weird semi-gross way.

I find it so giving to walk in the forest, explore and take pictures or just breath in fresh air. That is one thing that always brings things back into place for me. I feel the urge to go for a longer camping trip far into the woods very soon!
