Had an excellent warm winter flight before a weekend chinook of higher winds rolls in. You can see the chinook arch out in the cloud line forming.

The Arch was creating quite a shadow over the area as the sun was dipping below the cloud.
Still sun snow here to melt, we had another 6 inches last week so hopefully it won't last long with this warm chinook arriving!
As always, flying over the river valley looks great any time of year.
This guys hanger and airfield hasn't been used in years, I think he just converted the hanger to a big equipment shop now anyway.
