Las Vegas Swingers (Mini-Golf) ⛳️

We live within driving distance of Las Vegas and like to visit there several times a year. There is always plenty to do there, with venues closing and opening frequently.

One of those new places is Swingers Las Vegas, which opened in the Mandalay Bay Hotel in November 2024.

Earlier this year, we went to Las Vegas with friends and played two of the three nine-hole courses. We all had a blast! This was, by far, the most fun I've ever had playing minigolf!

About Swingers

As I said, Swingers is located inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel. It's located just inside the doors when you enter from the main parking lot in the back. It's easy to find if you aren't familiar with the hotel.

They were incredibly busy when we visited; it's not like a typical minigolf venue where you can walk on and play any time. We had to make a reservation at the front desk when we arrived. The wait wasn't too long though, we were able to play after waiting about an hour for our reservation.

They have a nice bar and seating area on the second level. While waiting, we sat at the bar overlooking two of the nine-hole courses. It's a great spot for people watching and listening to the music. They also have a lot of interesting posters on the walls.

We took this picture from the bar area on the second floor. On the left side is one of the nine-hole courses. In the background is a DJ Booth, some tables, and a small dance floor.

Here are a couple more shots of the same area from different angles. We didn't end up playing the course pictured here. We played the one on the other side (The Clocktower Course) and the one upstairs (Hot Air Balloon).

DJ Booth and Lounge

Here are some closer pictures of the lounge area and the DJ booth.

You can order food and drinks in this area while listening to music. It's another good area for people watching and hanging out with friends.

You can barely see the DJ behind the column. Perhaps it's @ducecrypto? Not really, if it were, I hope I'd have recognized him and said hi.

The Clocktower Course

Our first round was on The Clocktower, pictured below. This is one of three nine-hole courses at Swingers.

They even have waiters and waitresses walking around selling beverages. Each hole has a nice stand (pictured below) where you can set your drink while taking a shot.

Each hole has a bronze, silver, and gold target to aim for. The colors represent an increasing difficulty level for each shot. Gold is the best and most challenging option and is the most likely to score a hole-in-one.

Here is the course guide for The Clocktower. The layout doesn't match the exact layout of the holes, but each one is pictured mostly accurately.

This is the fourth hole and features a Ferris wheel. You need to time your shot so the ball gets through one of the open fins (gold) rather than the closed ones.

This is the fifth hole, where you power your shot through the loop and try to hit the gold mark on the other side.

The Hot Air Balloon Course

After completing the first nine holes. They offered us a discount to play a second nine for much cheaper. We were already having a great time and everyone wanted to continue playing.

Our second round was on The Hot Air Balloon course. This is the course guide. This one is located upstairs on the third floor near the carnival games.

I don't remember for certain, but I believe this is the first hole on the course. The balloon is spinning and you want to try to hit it right through the center without the ball being knocked to either side.

Here is another hole with a ferris wheel. You have the choice to try hitting underneath or going around.

Here is another interesting hole. If you can make it, you want to hit up the ramp and into one of the golden holes. It reminds me a bit of playing skee ball.

More Info

In hindsight, I wish I had taken more pictures of some of the other areas, such as the entry, bar, carnival games, and stairways. Unfortunately I didn't, and I don't want to copy photos from other sources. You can find a lot more info and pictures on the Swingers Las Vegas webiste, or on the Google maps link.

As I said earlier, everyone in our group had a fantastic time and enjoyed it thoroughly. We may go back do it again on another trip to Las Vegas.
