Namaste to all the Warriors of Splinterlands!🙏

In this week's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟, I will tell you about a battle where I was losing badly even after trying continuously for the last several days. I tried to make a better team every time, but due to the limited available cards, I was not able to dominate the enemy in any way. Then I took a break yesterday and tried again today, and this time I was successful in defeating this very powerful enemy. This battle is really different. I am sure that you will not only learn something from it, but you will also enjoy it, so please read the whole blog! 🙏

I created my team by using 44 of my total mana cap!

Let's now look at the Battlefield and how all the cards are positioned!

If you have completed the first book of Waur Medge Academy for the recently launched Frontier Battle mode, then you might have faced this super villain in some chapter. This battle was supposedly a part of the tutorial, but seeing such a strong enemy in the tutorial, I wondered what would happen next in this mode. Frankly, I had never faced such a strong enemy before. At first glance, you might have only noticed that the enemy is alone, but you need to see once again how much health and attacking power this single, slow enemy has.

I used all my knowledge from my little experience to build teams with different elements and battled with it. But the result was always defeat. I could have left it, but I had to complete this book; this was my second-to-last chapter, and now it was standing in front of me like a challenge, and I had to overcome it at any cost. So I did not even open Splinterlands for a whole day, it was kind of a break after which today I again landed on the battlefield with a fresh mind.

The most important thing to understand was that even though the enemy is slow and alone, his one attack is enough to destroy one of my cards, so I had to add cards capable of performing the attack first, and that too with maximum attacking power. So, in my limited cards of this new card set, I looked at the cards with maximum attacking power and realised that the Fire element is the only one with which I can keep my attacking power maximum, so I built a team with the Summoner of Fire element.

Round 1🔥

With all the attackers in the team, I placed a card with the Thorns ability on the frontline. The plan was simple because, since the enemy is a melee attacker, in response to his initial attacks, the Thorns of this non-attacking card will be able to damage the enemy just like the rest of the team members. And till the end of the first round, the plan worked well, but the enemy still had a lot of health left and his attacking power was a big threat.

Round 2 🔥

Round 3 🔥

At the end of the second round, when the enemy's attack missed on my frontline card, that was the moment when I felt that this time this battle could be won because missing one attack gave my entire team an extra chance to attack the enemy whose total impact would be equal to the loss of 8 health and then in the next round, with the elimination of the card with the Thorns ability, its last Thorns attack caused additional 2 health damage to the enemy, after which my victory was almost certain because the enemy had a total of 12 health left and the total attacking power of all my cards was 8 health. Although this battle went on till the fifth round, I finally defeated this super-strong monster.

Maybe some of you might feel that this was not a real battle but a tutorial, but you see, in this battle too, you needed to follow the same understanding, planning and strategy as you would in any other battle. And after defeating this monster, you understand that you can make an amazing team with the cards available in your deck, provided you understand the game mechanics well and build a team with the right strategy. Although it was undoubtedly one of the most dangerous monsters, but its presence in the chapter of the Academy book confirmed to me that it could be defeated, that too with the available cards, after which I just needed to do some calculations of the attacks, and this chapter was also cleared.
