Namaste to all the citizens of Splinterlands!🙏
In today's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟, I'm going to share another amazing battle experience with you. During team selection, I was 200% sure I would win this battle because I had included my most powerful cards in my team due to the freedom in mana cap. This post is an example of why it's important to constantly improve your strategies and strive to get better at Splinterlands.

Let's go straight to the battlefield itself!

Above, you see the battlefield before the battle begins. The ruleset for this battle was Armored Up, meaning +2 armor to all units. The mana cap was 52, which is considered a fairly good mana cap, as this amount of mana allows you to field your most powerful cards. Naturally, I wanted to take full advantage of this opportunity, and with that enthusiasm, I set about using my best cards of this season to be a part of this battle.
And if you look at the attacking capabilities, the enemy has a combined attacking power of 11 across all of its cards, while my cards have a total attacking power of 23. Regarding speed, the enemy's cards have a maximum speed of 3, and that's only for two of them. On the other hand, my cards have a minimum speed of 3, and that's only for four of my cards. See, the gap is so huge, even though the mana cap and other battle conditions are equal for both. So, who do you think will win this battle?

As you can see, the screenshot above is from near the end of the second round, when after one of my cards was knocked out, my heavy cards knocked out one of my opponent's cards, even though it was the most powerful card. But this means the enemy absorbed all 23 damages from the first round without losing a single card. This battle isn't as easy as I, or perhaps you, had imagined. Although my powerful cards are still on the battlefield, the enemy still has more cards left that's going to be a headache for me.

Above, you can see that after losing one of my cards again, I was able to knock out the enemy's second card. Here, you can also think that technically, both of us suffered equal damage, and yet, if we look at it, my cards appear to be more powerful. Well, I thought so too, but only when both of us had only one card knocked out. Then, while fighting this card that came in first place, I realised that the enemy had two fabulous Frontliners because the way they took all my attacks on themselves and protected the rest of their team is mind-blowing. Before the battle began, I was 200% sure that I would win this battle, and that too probably in just one or two rounds.
But these two important enemy frontliners, and among them I would say the first one, Special Arcana Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut, is a card that has the power of many cards in itself, and you cannot even think of winning with it without cleverness. Plus, a card with a tank heal ability that'll help repair your already strong tanks. I wouldn't say this battle was impossible to win, as the damage my cards did to the enemy was quite good. Perhaps I could have reduced my reliance on ranged attackers, and a healer would have been beneficial. Although defeating Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut would still be difficult, my chances of winning might have increased.
Although there are still some more attacks to be performed, you will be able to get those important lessons and full-on thrill only by watching this battle. If I had the same Arcana tank, the outcome of this battle could have been different. However, in Splinterlands, you can't win a battle solely on better cards; you have to be both powerful and clever. It's essential to understand the implications of the rules and carefully build your team, taking all factors into account. As you finesse your strategies with better cards, you'll find Splinterlands is an ocean of rewards and a lot of fun. The deeper you delve, the more you'll benefit from it.🔥
