Everything about God is good right from the time of creation to His dealing with man. By the reason of we created in His likeness should as well walk in the same path by doing good to others. It is actually a privilege to be opportune to help those in need.
Doing good to people is a practical thing. Our decisions and actions are what are used identify our good works.
James 2:15 & 16 (KJV) 15.If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16.and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
There are people that God have entrusted in our care to reach out to. If all we do is wish each other well we may never experience any change in our lives.
Galatians 6:10 - As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith
Like I said earlier, we should consider the ability to help others as a great privilege because not everybody has that same opportunity to do so. Doing good to people should not be limited to our family alone or those closest to us, but to everyone we come across in life.
