‎Can a child have hatred for his own biological father? Could there be a reason for a child to wish in his heart death for his father? ‎ ‎It's always one drama or the other in the house of the Jacobs. They say when two elephants fight it is the grass that suffers. In this case, Victor happens to be the grass, an unfortunate kid who's few years he's spent in this world made him a spectator of a match that goes in the ring which went between his parents. One could hardly tell what was going on because whenever you take a look at the face of Victor's mom it was always covered with a smile that would leave you with no clue with the pain she conceived in her soul. ‎ ‎For most children you'd probably hear them say "My dad is the best in the whole world." "Number 1 dad!" "I love my dad with all my heart, to the moon and back". But this was not the same for Victor. These are the words you are most likely to hear come out of the mouth of little Victor: ‎ ‎"I hate my Dad!" ‎ ‎Victor's mom never failed to inculcate the right morals into Victor like making him never to think of forgetting his family, something his father obviously did. ‎ abf97c4d-0511-40f4-8954-82489dd80efd.jpeg Link

‎"Victor, the day you raise your hand on a woman that day you make yourself a weaker man"; ‎ ‎these words from his mom will forever stick to the mind of Victor for the rest of his life. Watching his mom being brutalized was the order of the day, which she kept on hoping that someday he was going to change. Instead, he just kept on being a constant reminder of life in a marital cage. Victor was only eleven and couldn't do anything when this act of violence begins to play out. All he could do was go down on his knees and beg "Dad, please", as he wept. But his plea would always fall to deaf ears. The only time he would stop the beating was after they had left scars. ‎ ‎One night Victor's dad came back home with anger for no reason. But as usual, Victor's mom smiled at him and welcomed him with open arms, asked him about lunch and if he had one. But instead he just shoved her out of the way.  All the poor woman was trying to do was help, but she knew it was best to give him his space. She looked at Victor and said, "It's bedtime sweetie. I'll meet you in a minute and pray." But something kept telling Victor that his presence was the only reason for him to believe that his mom would be really okay. He couldn't help but think to himself; ‎ ‎"It's better you stay.  Don't take a step because if you do it could turn into a brutal display in the next minute!" ‎ ‎Victor would soon realize that it would have been best if he listened to his own advice. Few minutes later Victor hears a slam at the door. He father yelling angrily. Victor covers both his ears with an attempt to ignore. He reaches for the pillow as adrenaline pours. But he keeps hearing the voice of his angry dad as it yells; ‎ ‎"Who do you think you are?! You could never be anything without me. Now you think you can tell me how to live my life?! ‎You're so ungrateful. Let me see who's going to save you today. Primitive witch! You've probably forgotten the place you belong. So what if I drink?! You pay me nothing, I waste my life and my energy as a sacrifice for you and your son!" ‎ ‎All that Victor could hear from his mom's end were her screams for help, followed by the sound of his father's belt and then shatters of glass. Victor cries in his room and says to himself as though it was his dad he was talking to: ‎ ‎"Daddy, please let her go!" ‎ ‎ As he was trembling in his room, he heard the groaning voice of his mom screaming, "Oh Lord, help me!" Victor is petrified but hastens his step. Hoping that if he dad sees him he might have a reason to restrain his anger. After a few seconds he couldn't hear his father yell anymore, just his mom wailing. He then hears the neighbors try to open the door. Victor finally makes it into the living room, only to find his dad lying lifeless in the arms of his mom, with a broken glass in his neck. Victor could see remorse in his mom's eyes. She tried to revive him while Victor watched two feet away in a frozen state. Few hours later Victor dad gave up the ghost, followed by his mom due to a fatal miscarriage. ‎ Grey%20minimalist%20business%20project%20presentation%20%201.png
