https://youtu.be/5OYmS8syUlo?si=BYaUcIhrEbTif24K Having to lose a life partner can be quite painful. It is okay if someone having lost his or her spouse decides to remarry. One of the needs of we humans is the need for companionship. People are bound to their partners as long as they are still legally married and both alive. But when one of the either dies, they are no longer together. The vows made on the altar during a wedding addresses this better for us. There is a part at the end of the vows said between the bride and the groom that says till death sets them apart. So long as they are alive they are bound to each other. But if unfortunately, death cuts the life of either of them short, they have the freedom to go ahead and pick another husband or wife, depending of who died. It's all a thing if choice. Yes, we may see people who lost their spouse and remained single till their old age. But that does not mean that it is wrong to remarry. It was never kicked against in the Bible. Certain uncertainties in life are bound to happen. But this should not keep us from moving on, or deny us the chance of being happy again.
