https://youtu.be/KFY7dUtEkbA?si=Dx-2WTEvkK9uSsTy Redemption comes from repentance. As believers it is important we understand who we are and what God has done for us in Christ. We live in the light of what the scriptures say about us and not to be carried away by happenings around. God is faithful and circumstances cannot change the character of God. He is good yesterday. He is good today. He will be good tomorrow.
In Psalms 23, David did not pretend that everything was okay or that nothing bad was happening around him but acknowledged that, "Because the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want", in other words, "I have everything I need!".
He went ahead to add, "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, because God is with me" and continued, *"Surely [I know beyond the shadow of doubt, regardless of what I see, what I feel and what I think,] God's goodness and mercies shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the presence of the Lord forever and ever"
For the Lord to bring you this far it simply means that He has a commitment to continue being our helper.
