Hello everyone! For this Splinterlands weekly art contest I bring you this drawing of the life card called
Silvershield Assassin which I did because I liked its design and its aesthetics of masked assassin. Next I will show you the process I took to create this illustration.
Step 1: I started by making a guide of the character's body so I could have an idea of the size she would have on the canvas and the pose she would be in.
Step 2: I made the sketch of the character following the guide I made before and also looking at the reference image, as you can see here it makes more sense the shape, appearance and characteristics of the Silvershield.
Step 3: here I started to add the color in the drawing using the sketch as a reference I put the color in the areas where I was going, taking the colors from the reference image starting with the skin until finishing this step with the face.
Step 4: In this step I started to render the colors starting with the skin and the clothes since I had several parts of the same color in different layers of the drawing to make my work easier. I continued with the part of the arms and the face, and to finish the missing parts of the character in addition to a filter that I put over the colors and a bright light that is noticeable on one side of the character.
Step 5: In this part I made the background putting a dark blue color to which I put a dark shadow and a light following the light that already had the character. Then I put some silver branches which I would later texturize with lights and shadows to give it that silver look and some glitters that I added at the end.
Final: This is how the final result would look like compared to the original design, let me know what you thought of this drawing and I hope you liked it.
