Hello everyone! For the SplinterLands art contest I bring you this drawing of the life card called Mimosa Nightshade which I illustrated in my own way. Below I show you the process in the creation of this drawing.
Step 1: the first thing I had done was the guide and the sketch but due to a mistake I worked with everything together which made the work more uncomfortable.
Step 2: Here I started with the color of the character following the sketch and the reference image as you can see I used the corresponding colors starting with the skin, then the clothes and finally the hair.
Step 3: Then I put the shadows and lights to the colors of the character using as a base a purple color for the leftovers and for the lights I only used the same color in "Shine" mode.
Step 4: Here I made a magic effect on the hands of the character with a pink, purple and blue color following the reference image and putting some glitter, plus a part of the flames that I deformed with my finger to give it more realism.
Step 5: Then I made the background on which the character would be making a sketch of the floor I wanted to do, then I made the floor and finally a black hole in the background that unfortunately would not be seen at the end but I left it because I liked it.
This would be the final result I hope you liked my post. Personally it was not better than other drawings I have done.
