Hello @asean.hive family. I wasn't able to write because we just came back to our flooded house. But my post for today is to flex my son's ability to repair an electric fan. My husband bought a buy one take one stand fan online. Worth 1200 pesos or $20.99 very cheap compared to the others. It arrived on time and the parts were light and a part was also missing. I also messaged the seller but it had a long process to get the part needed. My son just made a way so we can use it.
Months pass and it falls off in the flood. I don't know how many times but when it happens my son always dries it in the sun. He'll check the parts and examine and find out what went wrong.
But my post for today may be the worst that happened in the electric fan. Our first night here in our house I was worried because the electric fan was sunk in the flood. I wasn't bothered because I thought my son could repair it again. And he did it, but it took hours. We don't have electrical tapes so he made a way! He often does that technique so I'm not worried and it really works safely.
The next morning he bought a tire lock and electrical tape. He covered what needed to be covered.
I went to the school to feed Ria and when I came back I saw him thighing the electric fan to our drum. That's how complicated it is. We tried to use it but it didn't work! We were both disappointed! It was working last night and suddenly it stopped! My son tarted fixing it at 11 am and ended at 6 pm! We even argue! It even sparked when he plugged it into the outlet!
And we found out that the switch was the problem. He transferred the switches and when it tested it; number one was not working. Number three were rotating in the opposite direction. Only number two was working as normal. But all of a sudden it blows up! We were able to remove it from the socket.
I told him to give up already because we might be electrocuted! There are things that already wanted to give up! I was referring to my self! He don't know how I'm proud of him because as you can see his my partner in every floods I had!
I told @katsuki29 to bought us a clip fan. And it's all worth it because till now we don't have any windows. We're just covering it with an old blanket.
