Volviendo al diseño y dejando a un lado mi opinión personal de las series del canal Cartoon Network, podremos notar que el primer paso de todo es hacer el boceto de nuestro querido personaje Número 1, el cual está conformado más que todo por figuras lineales y simétricas.
Estas líneas son una referencia de como vamos a armar nuestro personaje, por cierto, número 1 es el líder de los Chicos del Barrio, por lo cual es uno de los protagonistas de la serie.
Este personaje posee líneas redondeadas u ovaladas y sus característicos lentes oscuros y con un atuendo urbano que junto a su intelecto nos dieron una serie muy icónica en sus tiempos.
En este paso vamos a ubicar todos los elementos del personaje como los lentes, las botas, su pose característica, los cuales al momento de colorear serían de colores muy planos y sin sombras.

En esta parte vamos a utilizar múltiples de los colores de los marcadores que compré hace tiempo y ya se están desgastando, pero debo admitir que les he dado muy buen uso. Comenzamos a delinear las zonas que vamos a pintar con el color carne muy claro.
Me parece una técnica muy buena para abocetar sin miedo a equivocarte, porque con el marcador se hace la base del diseño o por lo menos para tener una idea.
Una vez terminado quise ver como se vería todo delineado con negro, la idea también es hacer líneas gruesas lo más que se pueda en ciertas zonas específicas.

Ya una vez que tenemos la mayoría del dibujo coloreado, con sus colores originales y como mencioné anteriormente vamos a delinear todo muy bien, con marcador negro haciendo líneas muy gruesas, esta es la esencia de la serie.

Returning to the design and putting aside my personal opinion of Cartoon Network series, we can see that the first step is to sketch our beloved character, Number 1, who is made up mostly of linear and symmetrical figures.
These lines are a reference for how we're going to build our character. Incidentally, Number 1 is the leader of the Kids, making him one of the series' protagonists.
This character has rounded or oval lines and his characteristic dark glasses and urban attire that, along with his intellect, gave us a very iconic series in its time.
In this step we will place all the elements of the character such as the glasses, the boots, his characteristic pose, which when colored would be very flat colors and without shadows.

In this section, we're going to use several of the marker colors I bought a while ago, and they're already wearing off, but I must admit I've put them to good use. We'll start outlining the areas we'll paint with the very light flesh color.
I think it's a great technique for sketching without fear of making mistakes, because the marker provides the basis for the design, or at least gives you an idea.
Once finished, I wanted to see how everything would look outlined in black. The idea is also to make the lines as thick as possible in certain specific areas.
