Hello everyone, I’m excited to share my latest clay sculpture, a torso piece that I created during our recent sculpture class. This was an incredibly challenging experience for me, as it was my first time sculpting a human form, and I had no prior knowledge or experience in this area. The class had a limited time frame, which added to the pressure, but I was eager to learn and push my boundaries.
Below, I've included some progress shots that showcase the development of my piece throughout the class:
I also wanted to highlight the collaborative atmosphere of our class by sharing some photos of my talented classmates at work. Their creativity and skills inspired me greatly:
To guide my sculpting process, I used a reference image that was incredibly helpful in capturing the anatomy and proportions of the torso:
Finally, here is the finished sculpture that I submitted for evaluation. I am proud of my progress and the final result, and I look forward to continuing my journey in art and sculpture:
Thank you for taking the time to look at my work! I appreciate your feedback and support as I continue to explore my artistic abilities.
