I'm uss1, I'm here with a little piece of birth stages and experience. I have been out here for a while due to my phone issues but I am fully back now.
- Conception
Pregnancy begins when a sperm fertilizes an egg. This usually happens in the fallopian tube. The fertilized egg then travels to the uterus and implants itself in the uterine wall โ this is when pregnancy officially begins.
๐คฐ 2. Pregnancy (Management)
Pregnancy lasts about 40 weeks, divided into three trimesters:
๐ First Trimester (Weeks 1 to 12):
The body adapts to pregnancy (hormonal changes).
Symptoms: nausea (morning sickness), fatigue, tender breasts.
The embryo develops into a fetus, with a heartbeat and tiny limbs forming.
๐ Second Trimester (Weeks 13 to 26):
Usually the most comfortable phase.
The belly starts to show, fetal movements can be felt.
Organs and systems develop; gender can often be identified.
๐ Third Trimester (Weeks 27 to 40):
The fetus grows rapidly, gaining weight and strength.
The mother may feel more tired, with back pain and pressure.
The baby descends further into the pelvis in preparation for delivery.
๐คฑ 3. Labor and Delivery
Labor is the process of delivering a baby. It occurs in three phases:
๐ธ Phase 1: Early and Active Labor
The cervix dilates (opens) and thins (thins).
Contractions become regular, stronger, and closer together.
The bag of waters may break (amniotic sac ruptures).
๐ธ Phase 2: Delivery of the Baby
The mother pushes with contractions.
The baby moves through the birth canal.
Once the baby is fully delivered, the umbilical cord is cut.
๐ธ Stage 3: Deliverance of the Placenta
The placenta (which nourished the baby) is expelled.
This marks the end of the birthing process.
๐ผ 4. Postpartum Period
The mother's body begins to recover.
Hormones change and emotions may fluctuate.
Breastfeeding can begin and the bond with the baby strengthens.
