Everything in us was created so that we should be doers of good works. As the creatures of God, let us endeavor to be obedient to the commandments of God. This is what the Bible tells us:
Galatians 6:10 (KJV) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
By this scriptures, we are not to be selective with the good works that we intend to do. We should allways be good. We shouldn't mind whether they are equally good to us. We should not even restrict our goodness to those who are our love ones alone or those who are related to us. We should not consider our nationality when doing the good works which we are commanded by God. We should be good to everybody.
Remember that our Father is good both to the good and the bad.
Matthew 5:45 (KJV) That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Our God shows us a perfect example of how we can be doers of good works. He said we should be like Him. He sends His sun and His rain to both the wicked and the good.
We as christians are actually created for this. We are created unto every good works. Why then should we find it difficult to do what is good? Our God has created us for good works.
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
