It is of the Lord’s mercy that we are not consumed. The mercy of God is what is preserving us. We have survived all the calamities starting from January. The Lord our God has been our Helper and He has defended us in every way. We were not consumed by the evil that was dominant in the year. From the beginning of this beginning of this year beginning problems of life had nagged us on every side but the Lord our God had 🐝 our Strong Tower.
Having gone this far, we are confident that God will not let us down. He will continue to sustain us by his love and mercy. For the great love wherewith He loves us, He will increase his mercies for. Having this understanding, let us not be overwhelmed by the problems of life. We should remain calm in the face of every problem. We should not forget that the Lord our God will be there for us regardless of what we may experience in life. God has promised good to us. His word shall secure our hope. He shall be our shield and portion, as long as life endures.
The Bible contains God's great promises to us. When we take heed to the word of God, we can be sure that all will be well. As the children of the Most High God, let us learn to remain calm in the face of everything that we are facing in our lives.
