Gone are the days when morals had meaning, when it was held up high as a standard, when it wasn't just a concept but something that sharpened our sense to differentiate what is right and what is wrong, it was something that was taught everywhere, in homes, schools and even religious institutions. we valued each other and before we do something bad or something against our moral codes, we always view the effect it might have on our families or neigbours but nowadays, everthing feels like a dream or should I say gradually turning into a taboo, it felt like the line drawn between what is moral and what is not is gradually being erased,
Back then, all men worked deligently, learning skills, putting their talents to use and earning a living legally but things aren't like this anymore, people now get famous or get rich for wrong reasons, people now believe you can only be rich by engaging in illegal activities. 7 out of 10 guys you meet are either into yahoo business or other illegal stuff, someone once told me he is tired of his 9-5 jobs because no matter how diligent he is at work, the stress, tiredness, at the end of the month, his salary wasn't enough to meet his need, he is tired of living hand to mouth and he needed something else because the pressure is increasing daily especially when he saw people doing lesser things but still making more than him, at some point, I could reason with him, you will see guys out there, using expensive things, spending lavishly and when you ask them their source of income, it is always something illegal, yet you that promise yourself not to engage in illegal things always felt like you are not putting in enough work.
Nowadays, there is nothing like shame, it feels like it went into extinction, back then there are some behaviour or modes of dressing you couldn't display but now, they see it as the trending style, we now see people walking around half naked, people leaking their nude photos just to trend and they aren't bothered about the future consequences, some tweeting shameful things just to trend yet see it as normal things. The one thing that was normalized which makes no sense is the scamming part which they call yahoo yahoo, even parents now encourage their children to engage in it, once they are done with secondary school, instead of telling them to learn a skill, they will rather get them a pc, and place them under one street guy to teach them how to engage in scamming.
They believe that is the only way they can make money, this particular generation seems to be getting worse every day
