Hello everyone! I’m Valentina Zambrano and I’m so excited to be back in this amazing competition. Today I want to share with you a song that has always inspired me because of its beautiful lyrics and powerful melody. This week, the competition is focused on songs from the eighties, but I’ve decided to choose a song from the nineties because I feel it connects me more deeply.
The song I’ve chosen has a very special story for me. The first time I heard it, I felt completely transported to another world. Its lyrics speak of love, hope, and resilience, and every time I hear it, it fills me with energy and motivation. It’s one of those songs that, no matter how many times you listen to it, it always makes you feel something new and exciting.
I remember that I prepared this song for a previous competition, but in the end I chose to sing “Adfly” by Billie Eilish, which is also one of my favorites. However, this nineties song has always had a special place in my heart. Its lyrics are so deep and meaningful that it inspires me to keep going, no matter what challenges I face.
This week, even though the theme is from the eighties, I felt like I had to share this song with you because it truly represents who I am and what I feel.
