Recommendation Dr. Stone: How the Power of Science Helps Rebuild Civilization. [Eng/Esp]

**Hello, anime lovers!** I hope you are all doing well. Today, I would like to recommend one of my favorite anime series from my long list of favorites. This anime is a science fiction, action, adventure, and comedy series with a post-apocalyptic premise that makes the story even more appealing. The anime is called **Dr. Stone**.  _{[Dr.Stone. Humanity, as we knew it, was petrified in a strange phenomenon that swept across the entire world... And 3,700 years later, a young genius named Senku Ishigami awakens from petrification, having kept his consciousness awake throughout all those thousands of years, with a single goal: to rebuild the entire civilization using science, in order to create a scientific kingdom. The story begins when Senku manages to depetrify himself and later discovers a way to de-petrify his closest friends. From there, with his vast knowledge, Senku plans to move from the Stone Age to the modern era without all the thousands of years in between. The anime shows real scientific principles such as chemistry, mathematics, and applied physics, explaining procedures, from how to make and find the elements to make bullets, engines, soap, and even rudimentary but quite functional telephones, among other things.  _{[Dr.Stone. He is a very comical character who sometimes acts like a villain, like a mad scientist, which many characters point out to him, but this adds a lot of personality to Senku. Senku begins the adventure with his two best friends, and they start by selecting, “for the time being,” only those people who can contribute “skills or knowledge” to the creation of a scientific kingdom. In basic terms, “essential personnel,” since the de-petrifying serum that Senku created is scarce and can only be used on people who contribute to his plans. But chaos soon ensues when Senku de-petrifies people who do not want the world to return to normal or who want to create their own world, so throughout the anime, many want to kill Senku. It is in his escape from these types of people that Senku discovers something disturbing and a mystery at the beginning of the anime: a fishing village that has lived in the petrified world for generations. Senku does not understand this, as all of humanity was petrified, so he sets out to discover where these people come from. And the mystery only grows as the story progresses, as certain knowledge possessed by this civilization cannot belong to such a young civilization, in addition to the fact that they do not display strong Japanese traits and the anime is set in a “stone” Japan.  _{[Dr.Stone. He will also embark on an adventure to discover what caused the petrification and the secrets behind it. Where did it come from, who did it, and why does petrification seem to be the origin of a kind of “eternal life”? Thus, the path to creating a scientific kingdom devised by Senku becomes an adventure that will involve assassination attempts, deception, theft, and betrayal. Personally, I love this anime; it's one of my all-time favorites. Senku is a great character, who sometimes humorously borders on being a villainous tyrant, but he thinks everything through very logically; even so, this doesn't stop him from looking out for the good of those he loves. There are many other great characters, such as the great warrior Kohaku, the mentalist Gen, Chrome, Senku's apprentice who never stops saying “bad science,” and the charismatic navigator Ryusui, among many others. The animation is very good, and each character contributes something to the plot. Despite the “stone world” and “let's kill Senku” elements, the comedy is very present.  _{[Dr.Stone. It's something new and, in my opinion, original, as it's not something I've seen in other anime. The story is very entertaining and has some very exciting episodes. The mystery factor also adds a lot of character to the plot and keeps it interesting from start to finish. I love how they explain scientific principles and their explanations in such a simple way, so I also find it a very informative anime where you learn something new. It also has several moments of tension, as it is still an era where laws and rules do not exist, in a world with a very small population governed by the law of the strongest: science or force?  _{[Dr.Stone. Hoy les traigo por recomendación uno de mis animes favoritos de mi gran lista de animes favoritos. La humanidad, tal y como se conocía, fue petrificada en un extraño fenómeno que recorrió al mundo entero… Y 3.700 años después, un joven genio de nombre Senku Ishigami despierta de la petrificación al haber mantenido su conciencia despierta durante todos esos miles de años, con un solo objetivo: reconstruir la civilización entera usando la ciencia, para así crear un reino científico. La historia comienza cuando Senku por sí mismo logra despetrificarse y posteriormente descubre una forma de despetrificar a sus amigos más cercanos. A partir de ahí, con sus vastos conocimientos, Senku planea pasar de la era de piedra a la era moderna sin todos los miles de años que hay en el medio. El anime muestra principios científicos reales como química, matemáticas y física aplicada, explica procedimientos, desde cómo hacer y encontrar los elementos para hacer balas, motores, jabón y hasta teléfonos, rudimentarios, pero bastante funcionales, entre otras cosas.  _{[Dr.Stone. Es un personaje muy cómico que a veces hace gestos y actitudes de villano, como una especie de científico loco, cosa que muchos personajes se lo señalan, pero esto le agrega mucha personalidad a Senku. Senku empieza la aventura con sus dos mejores amigos y empiezan con la búsqueda de seleccionar “por los momentos” solo a aquellas personas que puedan contribuir con “habilidades o conocimiento” en la creación de un reino científico. En términos básicos, “personal esencial”, pues el suero para despetrificar que Senku creó es escaso y solo puede usarlo en personas que contribuyan a sus planes. Pero el caos pronto se desata cuando Senku despetrificar a personas que no desean que el mundo vuelva a la normalidad o desean crear su propio mundo, por lo que a lo largo del anime muchos desean matar a Senku. Es en su escape de este tipo de personas donde Senku descubre algo inquietante y un misterio al inicio del anime: un pueblo pesquero que ha vivido en el mundo petrificado desde hace generaciones. Cuestión que Senku no entiende, pues toda la humanidad fue petrificada, así que se propone a descubrir de dónde vienen estas personas. Y el misterio solo crece a medida que avanza la historia, pues ciertos conocimientos que posee esta civilización no pueden pertenecer a una civilización tan joven, además de que no presentan grandes rasgos japoneses y el anime se ambienta en un Japón de “piedra”.  _{[Dr.Stone. Extraido de Pinterest](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/bc/9b/a5/bc9ba537de80df00d61f90601376993b.gif)} Senku no solo deberá enfrentar el reto de atravesar rápido la edad de piedra, la de los metales, antigua y media, hasta llegar a la edad moderna, así como sobrevivir a enemigos que no quieren que el mundo vuelva a la normalidad. Si no que también se embarcará en una aventura para descubrir qué originó la petrificación y los secretos detrás de ella. ¿De dónde vino, quién lo hizo y porque la petrificación parece ser el origen de una especie de “vida eterna”? Por lo que el camino hacia la creación de un reino científico ideado por Senku, se convierte en una aventura que tendrá intentos de asesinato, engaños, robo y traición. En lo personal, adoro este anime, es uno de mis grandes favoritos. Senku es un gran personaje, que graciosamente a veces roza lo villano-tirano, pero es que él piensa todo con mucha lógica; aun así, esto no impide que vea por el bien de los que quiere. Hay muchos otros personajes muy buenos como la gran guerrera Kohaku, el mentalista Gen, Chrome, aprendiz de Sekun que no deja de decir “ciencia malota” o el carismático navegante Ryusui entre otros muchos personajes. La animación es muy buena y cada personaje aporta algo a la trama. A pesar del elemento “mundo de piedra” y el “acabemos con Senku”, la comedia está muy presente.  _{[Dr.Stone. La historia es muy entretenida y tiene episodios muy emocionantes, además de que el factor misterio le agrega mucho carácter a la trama y la mantiene interesante de principio a fin. Y me encanta cómo explican de manera tan sencilla principios científicos y su explicación, por lo que también me parece un anime muy informativo y en donde se aprende algo nuevo. También tiene varios momentos de tensión, pues sigue siendo una era donde las leyes y las reglas no existen, en un mundo con una población muy reducida que se rige por la ley del más fuerte que podrá más: ¿la ciencia o la fuerza?  _{[Dr.Stone.
