[ESP/ENG] Instituto Regional de Deportes de Maracaibo entrega el Premio al Mérito Deportivo Luis "Lucho" Moreno || Maracaibo Regional Sports Institute presents the Luis "Lucho" Moreno Sports Merit Award

Este miércoles fui invitada a la entrega del Premio al Mérito Deportivo Luis "Lucho" Moreno, donde tuve la oportunidad de ser jurado para la elección de estos atletas.  La comunidad deportiva del estado Zulia se congregó en la Villa Deportiva Arquímedes Herrera el miércoles 24 de abril para presenciar la entrega del Premio al Mérito Deportivo Luis "Lucho" Moreno 2022, un emotivo homenaje a destacados exponentes del mundo deportivo del estado. El acto estuvo presidido por destacadas figuras como Oswaldo Orozco, presidente de SEDEZUL, el Secretario Regional de Deportes, Alexander Delgado, el presidente de FUNIDEZ, Dannys Giraldo y el presidente de FUNCIAZ, Dr. Arturo Moreno. La reunión contó con la presencia del gabinete deportivo zuliano, entrenadores, atletas y paratletas, glorias deportivas, dirigentes, asociaciones deportivas, institutos municipales, y medios de comunicación.  El Secretario Regional de Deportes, Alexander Delgado, compartió su alegría al lograr la recuperación y relanzamiento del Premio al Mérito Deportivo Luis Lucho Moreno, un galardón que reconoce el arduo trabajo y dedicación de entrenadores atletas, paratletas, asociaciones deportivas y dirigentes por lo que han hecho a lo largo del año. Tras cinco años de ausencia, este premio vuelve a destacar y celebrar la labor de los protagonistas del deporte en la región.  Delgado también extendió sus felicitaciones y reconocimiento a todos los deportistas, destacando su sacrificio, esfuerzo y determinación para llevar el nombre del Zulia a lo más alto en el escenario deportivo. Afirmó que son el verdadero orgullo de la región y representan la esperanza de un nuevo tiempo para el deporte zuliano.   El evento contó con la presencia de los familiares del homenajeado "Lucho Moreno", así como presidentes del deporte municipal, glorias deportivas, asociaciones deportivas, y destacadas personalidades del ámbito deportivo regional. Además, se anunció que a partir de la próxima semana se abrirá el proceso de postulación para la elección del Premio al Mérito Deportivo Luis "Lucho" Moreno 2023.
