Instead of staying at home, I decided to visit a nearby park to relax and enjoy the afternoon. I wanted to spend time in nature, see the animals, and just breathe in the quiet air. I thought it would be a simple day, but it turned out to be really refreshing and meaningful. ![IMG_20250928_194754.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/23uQtf5DzpJZmNziYaRiq7wVch2Z8yjUc5kLX9cv2qTpbPp1y3Qb8X6mWxp85wNJn1fmq.jpg) The first thing that caught my eye was a group of orange parrots inside their big cage. Their bright feathers looked so pretty orange, yellow, and green shining under the sun. They were noisy but in a cheerful way, moving as if they were greeting everyone passing by. I stood there for a while, just watching them jump and flap their wings. Seeing their colors and energy made me feel happy right away. ![IMG_20250928_194733.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/23xAe8K6Miikz7hoNGsB8NZFsF4dXaXEwoWsmCgSpXkAk5xEAuBBfBpCDXmB3ARtzdf6h.jpg) Not far from the parrots, I saw the rabbits. This was my favorite part of the park. One brown rabbit hopped closer to me, and I gently offered it some food. It nibbled from my hand, and I couldn’t stop smiling. Its fur was soft and fluffy, and the way it calmly ate made me feel so light inside. Feeding the rabbit reminded me of how little things, like caring for animals, can bring so much joy. ![IMG_20250928_194746.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/23w2sRkie5rFVuS1WphDismycoWLAEKfGoDxh29YLDRAP4zA2v36AWjosbbarSc9ApPDz.jpg) ![IMG_20250928_194739.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/23x1FDYdECor2MJfCZWnfdSBLGhD9QwvjJU6gx9vHbPLmgvQpksZk5jvgvEse5iwy1Vfg.jpg) I got the chance to hold one of the rabbits in my arms. It felt warm and small against me, and I gently stroked its fur while it stayed still. It looked so relaxed, and I felt connected to it in a special way. Holding that little rabbit reminded me that being gentle is important not only with animals, but also with people and even with ourselves. ![IMG_20250928_194713.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/23wqke2TjrFfNsv88x6AsE6WpKtQTmjRTCuFjEF7xcPabpYEDWanf7fLVzj7oWGWkT7ws.jpg) ![IMG_20250928_194720.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/EonoQypZUpquH8FBM9fjij8tFdtddSi6m9sgiu1Vyrzq279TcaBVZM7RvKnVg8keCTh.jpg) I also spent some time by the river. The water was calm, moving slowly, with the reflection of the trees dancing on the surface. I sat near the railing and listened to the sound of the flowing water. It was so peaceful, like the world had slowed down just for a moment. I realized how much I needed this quiet time. It was a simple scene, but it gave me a deep sense of calm. In another corner, I saw another rabbit with fluffy fur around its face, almost like it had a little beard. It wasn’t running around like the others. Instead, it just sat quietly by the wall, looking calm and content. Watching it made me realize that sometimes, it’s okay to enjoy peace and be still. Not everything has to be noisy or busy to feel good. ![IMG_20250928_194726.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/23wgHuvyVDNo5zjQPnVj8byRCbWPfb7fpxwAM7Tig2D5xppX7Ui1V4gDyyCJDu48NbrMz.jpg) The park also had goats and sheep, and they were just as fun to watch. Some of them stretched their heads through the fence, waiting eagerly for food from visitors. Their playful movements made me laugh. The goats and sheep, though different, all ate together without any trouble. Seeing them reminded me how nature shows us harmony in such a simple way. I went back to the river again before leaving. I sat by the edge with a small cup of fish food, tossing bits into the water. Tiny fish swam up quickly to catch it, and I enjoyed watching their movements. It was a quiet moment, but it felt special. Sometimes, it’s the little things like feeding fish or sitting by the water that remind us to slow down and enjoy life. ![IMG_20250928_194706.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/vanezeyy/23x18xZHiMi8RR8HN22nX74LuWFjN93diZikx5qmjdZwKsXYtHQKvx2JFmEoQzvMqSojL.jpg) Before heading out, I walked along a stone path in the park. The neatly placed rocks led me forward, step by step, and I thought of how life is also a journey we take slowly. The sunlight was starting to set, casting soft shadows on the ground. As I walked, I realized how much lighter and happier I felt compared to when I first arrived. That Sunday afternoon turned out to be more than just a visit to the park. It gave me peace, joy, and quiet lessons from nature. The parrots showed me energy, the rabbits reminded me of gentleness, the sheep and goats showed harmony, and the river gave me calmness. It was a simple day, but it left a big mark in my heart. I went home with not just pictures, but also a refreshed mind and a lighter spirit.
