Hello everyone. The song "This Little Town" chosen for the Hive Open Mic week 111 ensemble concert was a bit outside of my musical culture. For this reason, this week I recorded a song that went beyond the theme. I hope that my song recording this week will be perceived as a different color of this week.
The name of the song I recorded is Kirvem. Kirve in the name of the song is a concept that belongs to Anatolian culture and therefore does not have an English equivalent. Despite this, you can think of Kirve as a close friend. The song tells about the rebellion of a person whose kirve died and I have to say that it is a true story. The owner of the song's lyrics and composition is an Anatolian folk poet named Aşık Mahzuni Şerif. Therefore, the kirve, whose name is mentioned in the work as Hüseyin, is also the kirve of Aşık Mahzuni Şerif.

Herkese merhaba. Hive Open Mic 111. hafta topluluk konseri için seçilen şarkı "This Little Town" benim müzikal kültürümün biraz dışında kalıyordu. Bu sebeple bu hafta temanın dışına çıkarak bir şarkı kaydettim. Bu haftaki şarkı kaydımın bu haftanın farklı bir rengi olarak algılanmasını ümit ediyorum.
Kaydettiğim şarkının adı Kirvem. Şarkının ismindeki kirve tamamen Anadolu kültürüne ait bir kavram ve bu sebeple İngilizce karşılığı bulunmuyor. Buna rağmen sizler Kirve'yi yakın dost olarak düşünebilirsiniz. Şarkıda kirvesi ölen bir insanın isyanı anlatılıyor ve yaşanmış bir hikaye olduğunu söylemem gerekiyor. Eserin şarkı sözleri ve bestesinin sahibi Aşık Mahzuni Şerif isimli bir Anadolu halk ozanı. Dolayısıyla eserin içinde adı Hüseyin olarak geçen kirve de Aşık Mahzuni Şerif'in kirvesi.
