This movie will really crack you up especially when the cousin told Ruth "How can you be both proud and broke."
Synopsis
Ruth borrowed money from a loan app and rented a beautiful and expensive apartment, but she could only afford thirty percent of the payment. Due to the fact her cousin was the caretaker of the building, she was graciously given the apartment with the aim to balance up. She was jobless and the loan agency were always calling her and she will always have one rude response for them. The cousin in order to save his job had to find a flatmate for her. He did that but Ruth was angry that the flatmate was a guy and did all she could to frustrate him.
The guy tried his best to be a nice guy but Ruth always proved herself tough.
Peak scene
When the cousin came to settle another dispute after Ruth had slap her flatmate twice. Her cousin said some really hurtful things to Ruth which made her voice what childhood experience she encountered in their home that turned her into what she was.
As usual the sad story broke her cousin because he wasn't aware of the fact that she was abused as a child. A history like that could change anyone and for Ruth it turned her to a selfish person with a lot of trust issues.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. This movie was a classic. I'm not a fan of Nollywood but i think i enjoyed myself.
