Today is one of those days when I feel like life is smiling at me. And it's all thanks to something that's becoming a kind of personal ritual: meditating by the sea, living in the present and disconnecting 100%, with my faithful companion, Luna, my dog. Getting to the sea is like pressing the “reset” button. The stress stays in the car, and as soon as the sand touches my feet, it's as if an instant calm comes over me. The salty breeze, the sun warming just enough... it's paradise (for me). And seeing Luna so happy, running like crazy along the shore, infects me with that pure joy that only dogs know how to convey. My favorite spot is almost a tradition now: a palm tree that provides perfect shade. While Luna settles down next to me, looking for the coolest spot on the sand, I start reading a book. It's amazing how the sound of the waves can be the best soundtrack. There are no interruptions, just the coming and going of the sea. And of course, we can't miss the moment of getting into the water. First me, to cool off from the heat. Then Luna gets excited, running to the shore to jump among the small waves, barking with excitement. It's a party of splashes and laughter. After a while, we get out of the water and lie down on the sand to take a nap. I don't know if there's anything more relaxing than falling asleep to the sound of the waves. This beach ritual with Luna isn't just a weekend plan. It's a reminder that the simplest things are often the most important. And having my dog by my side makes every moment, every wave, and every ray of sunshine feel a little more special. If you have the opportunity, find that ritual that makes you feel that way. And if you have a pet, believe me, the combination is unbeatable.
